The Hampton Inn of Chapel Hill is not only conveniently located just on the outskirts of Chapel Hill, but is also a terrific place to stay. Unfortunately, access to the hotel can be confusing for those arriving for the first time. But the check-in staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are nice. The beds are especially comfortable, with great pillows. The TVs are modern and a joy to view. In short, if coming to UNC for a game, you'll be very pleased with the Hampton Inn. Big thumbs up!

Meal at evening 2 days a week. Roach got on me in the bathroom. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Room was nice and temp easy to control.

Staff member genuinely greeted me, offered wake up call and told me hours and location for breakfast the next morning. Offered complimentary coffee and map to room. Security guard in lobby was also helpful and was patrolling outside as we unloaded our car. It was very late and my daughter and I were on backside of hotel, security guard stayed in area until we were inside. It was very comforting to know that we had found such a nice hotel with a superior staff that really cared about the well being, comfort and security of their guests. I would highly reccommend this hotel!!

Our family stayed here while our son attended UNC basketball camp. Small hotel but staff makes you feel like it is a five star hotel. We headed out of town to another bigger fancier Hampton Inn after our stay and found ourselves comparing everything to the Chapel Hill Hampton. Clean, friendly and would definitely stay again.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Hampton Inn, they were friendly, efficient people and the hotel was very clean. There was breakfast free of charge as well as cold drinks, wine and beer an good snacks late afternoon. A good place to stay, we will go back.

Comfortable bed, clean room.

While the front desk service was excellent and the location was convenient, the room itself was overpriced and the furnishings were adequate but tired and worn.

The rooms weren't bad, but both the front door and the bathroom door squeaked, like the door was too big to fit in the door jam. Not a huge problem, except we had a sleeping 6 month old in the room. Otherwise, very nice for this price point.

Rooms are smallish, but very nice. Hotel is two stories, with rooms that open to the outside (no interior halls.) Everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Front office personell were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate. Only complaint is that the hotel was diffucult to find per online instructions, and we had to call for directions.

Close to the UNC campus in Chapel Hill, this Hampton is clean, well appointed (for example, the bed cover is made from natural materials!) and the staff is very helpful. Just watch out for the nearby road construction.

The wonderful, friendly directions given to us by the staff on the phone helped us immensely. Found a dead bug in the room when I pulled the shower curtain closed. Overall, very pleased. Will stay there again if the opportunity arises.

This isn't a fancy hotel by any means but the location is good once you learn how to find it. I attend several continuing education classes at the Holiday Inn nearby but stay at the Hampton due to price and the points program. The rooms are on the small side and need a little updating but they are comfortable and generally reasonably priced. There is a road access in the back of the parking lot that makes access a little better. I will stay here again.

Although it was more a motel style hotel, the room was very clean and the staff was very professional and friendly. There was a snack and bottle of water waiting in my room most of the days I was there, which is a great little treat after a long day! The wireless internet worked perfectly and the continental breakfast was also very good. I will certainly stay again because it is a great value for my money.

It was nice. There was a lot of construction in the area and it required back tracking to get to it. Friendly people.

Nothing! Double room booked was not available. Arrived after midnight only to discover no parking except on the motel side away from room. When reached room discovered one small single. No double as reserved and paid for! Did not have another room. Left and found another motel at 1:00 am. Desk clerk was very rude and not helpful. Informed me that reservations were not HIS problem. The final straw with Hampton. Will never use either again!

The staff was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast offered many choices and the hours were convenient. Lobby computer wonderful idea. It would be nice if the pool were open earlier than 10 am. The lobby entrance is attractive. The new laptop computer in the lobby provided access to email that was appreciated. The staff was always pleasant and accomodating. A small exercise room would have been a nice additional feature. Checking in and out was very easy.
