The room was clean and the bed and pillows very comfortable. The location was central to everything. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. The only problem we had was that our toilet broke at 10:00 at night and we were told that it couldn't be checked until the next morning. We had to use the lobby restroom.

Very helpful staff, and great location. No balcony or windows that open. Great hotel for the price. I would certainly stay here again. Breakfast buffet was good, lots of choices and it was clean. There is construction going on outside but it was not bad on the weekend.

I enjoyed my visit at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and you can walk to alot of things and the hot tub was so nice. They have early check in. But the breakfast was so nasty to us

Hotel was fine...just a part of town that was under construction. Neighborhood wasn't the best. Service was fine and enjoyed the wonderful breakfast! Best part of trip was complimentary breakfast

Generally, it was a good experience. It was strategically located so lots of sites were at a walking distance(Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Franklin Institute, etc.). The price was okay, it included complimentary breakfast(which some hotels near-by did not) and the service was good. The only issues during our stay is that they changed the breakfast hours and didn't notify the guests. So one morning we had to go out for breakfast and Philadelphia is not a cheap city. We also had some difficulties in our room with noisy AC and a clogged toilet but the staff resolved these quickly once notified. Otherwise, everything good. :)

Good location; just walking distance to chinatown and other historical landmarks. The pool is very small, and so was the fitness center. Overall the hotel was good. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms and hotel lobby were clean. However, the pool was too small to accommodate a lot of people. There is little or no room to swim when there are more than two families. The food was mediocre.

When I first arrived I was impressed - the lobby is nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There's complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby, and the location is great - right in Center City and a few blocks walk to Terminal Market. However, I had a very slow drain in my shower which is a pet peeve of mine. Also, they were demolishing a building across the street, which was my view. Overall, I think I paid too much for the room, but with a normal drain and a better view, I would stay again.

My stay at the hotel was great. The room and hotel were clean and very presentable. I love the morning buffet and the wireless internet access was very helpful.

Room was clean. Breakfest was served in paper plates. Good clean hotel with great location close for everything what city can offer but needs better kitchen and real plates.

I was surprised at the quality of accommodations given the cost of this hotel in the heart of the convention area. Only a couple blocks from good restuarants and a quick 5 minute drive to Penns Landing. Only two blocks from the interstate so access is easy. Free breakfast adds to the value of this hotel. The carpeting was quite dirty (very noticeable lint everywhere) in the hallways on the floors, though the rest of the hotel was well kept. the fitness center was acceptable, though small with one TV that was not functioning. Wireless internet in the rooms was convenient.

Very helpful, knowledgeable staff. Central location, reasonable room size.

Breakfast was very nice, more than what we expected. Bellman was horrible, should not have had one at all. Overall Hotel was very nice spent a lot of time in the room, the only problem with that was that there was now where to sit but in the bed. Called the front desk for a cab because it was poring and waited for 20 minutes out-front before hailing one for myself and getting soaked while the bellman watched.

Stayed four nights in a two room suite on the 10th floor, which we got at a very good rate from Travel agency as part of an airfare/hotel package. Room was very quiet, well maintained, clean and had one of the best king size beds we have ever experienced. Location next to the Convention Center, where both my wife and I had meetings, was very good, and also in easy walking distance to the historic district and other points of interest. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The free use of the business center on the lower level, including four computers available for guest use, was very nice. The only thing that we felt was only average at best was the free breakfast -- really nothing much different than any other hotel or motel that provides a "free" breakfast. We would definitely use this hotel again in the future if we had another trip to Philadelphia as we felt overall it was very good value for the money.

After a very lengthy search for the best deal in the area, this pick was perfect. I have no complaints other than a minor ac problem. However, a friendly maintenance man quickly responded to our call and remedied the problem. The location was great. It was just a short walk to China Town, Independence Center and a very short walk to the grand City Hall. I would recommend this place. Must mention the staff was very friendly and the rooms clean. Check in was easy and the place is only about 10-15 minutes from PHL int'l airport.

Front desk people were extremely nice and courteous. Parking. There is no complimentary parking, but pay only. Great hotel, great location. Super nice and friendly staff, from the hotel front desk to the housekeeping to the restaurant attendant. Philadelphians are very nice people! Too bad, but understandable that the hotel being in downtown Philadelphia there is no hotel parking. There is a near-by parking area, however one has to pay 20USD/day for parking, although it does have an attendant which gives you a peace of mind knowing your car will be guarded overnight.

The parking facilities were awful. Parking area was too small and the cars were bumper to bumper. Vehicles had to be moved in order to remove mine to go home.

Friendly, helpful, very nice and clean. The one cup coffee makers and they only put one pack of coffee that only made one cup in the room. The hotel was very clean, the people were very nice and helpful, and they did everything that we asked.

I was there for my daughter's graduation from Temple Law school. The school was only 2 or 3 subway stops away. Everyone, without exception, on the hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is old but very clean. The room did have a musty smell when I entered it, but a few seconds after turning on the AC it was swept away. Lots of pillows and very comfortable bed, I slept like a baby. Breakfast is extensive enough to find something you like and very big savings on a trip. Cable tv is on in the breakfast room. They also have a brown paper bag breakfast if you are on the run. They give yo little boxes of mints which is nice too. One night they had pop corn for everyone. Free newspaper available. Coffee and tea served all day and night. Nice to have a cup of tea when I returned after a long day. My room was quiet even though it was across the street from the new construction on the convention center. The location next to the convention center is not glamorous but it is convenient. Easy walk to China Town restaurants. Walking distance to the bus terminal ( which I took from and back to New York City). I did not try the pool or get to the business center, but they told me that they have computers to get on the internet, if you did not bring a lap top. They give guests internet access. Good experience.

Loved the view. So much to enjoy. No refrigerator; other than that-very good room. Excellent bed. Clean, friendly staff, only down-side, toilet clogged, received, handed, by attendant. One plunger's helper would have been nice to have had the Plummer, to use it, instead of me.
