Date of Stay: May, 2009

There was no automatic door when coming in with my luggage. The parking lot was dark. I thought I was going to be attacked by a raccoon in the trash near the dark side entrance. The room was smelly. It appeared that it had water damage. There was a lot of bad patch work all around the room. I could not believe this was part of the Hilton family of hotels. It looks like it had not been updated since the 80s. There appeared to be no pride being taken in this hotel. I had just left a Hyatt Place that was absolutely amazing on all levels in Fort Wayne, IN. I expected so much more from Indianapolis since it is a bigger city than Fort Wayne. The positives were that it was conveniently located and had a great check-in agent. I also liked the breakfast-to-go concept. It was not all bad. However, I would not return nor recommend it to anyone else especially a woman traveling alone. The state of the hotel did not give me the warm cozy feeling inside. Had I gotten there earlier and stayed more than one night, I would have gone to another hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable with above average linens. I stayed with my family and the children enjoyed the indoor heated pool. The only negative was the dust from the renovations in the lobby...We will stay there on our next visit.

We only stayed one night but this hotel is VERY clean. The employees,especially at the check in desk are friendly and helpful. Pool is nice plus clean and inside. We had the most comfortable bed ever, and plush comforter and pillows. The room was very clean and quiet. We had a great cont. breakfast, hot and cold large variety of foods. They also have bagged breakfast for those that are in a hurry. Great Deal. We have to go to Indy quite often but I'm sure this is THE place to stay.

The location is good, right off the highway and on the shopping strip. All the furniture, decoration are too simple and shabby to be 2.5 star. It is a down-to-earth 2 star. This hotel is okay, but it is definitely not 2.5, compared to all other 2.5 hotels that I stayed before. In two days, I stayed in two different 2.5 star hotels. First is SpringHill Suites, and the second day is this Hampton Inn. The feeling is just like dropping from Heaven down to earth. Overall, it is old and a lot of places needs remodeling.

The complimentary breakfast and the the greatcost on priceline. The rooms are clean, but very outdated. The hotel was very nice for the money. Rooms were clean and the best part was the hot breakfast. We only stayed for one night and had to leave early morning, so didn't use the amenities.

Safe, secure entrance, well lit parking, friendly staff, very clean and well maintained. Reasonable priced with extremely well maintained facility in safe location.

Cleanliness. Bed very uncomfortable, heater rattled all night, too much noise from bypass, too much lighting in room. Overall cleanliness was good. No sleep all night due to semi's traveling on highway (sets on I69), malfunctioned heater (rattled off and on all night) and other attendees were going in and out of there rooms all night letting the door slam behind them. I would not stay there again.
