Hampton Inn & Suites Valparaiso is located off US 30 at the Valparaiso Exit. We were the first hotel built using the new prototype. Area attractions include the university, Porter County Expo Center, and Indiana Dunes State Park. Dine nearby at Strongbow Inn, Wendys, Past Times, or Applebees.

We feature 77 rooms, including 18 double wide studio rooms, indoor pool/whirlpool, and sundeck, business center. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. It's in a nice, safe area, close to shopping and many restaurants. The hotel staff was extremely polite and helpful. There is no restaurant in the hotel but they provide a good breakfast, more than just toast and cereal that most hotels offer for their complimentary breakfast. I would for sure recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff, clean environment and conveniently located to my destination. Breakfast bar is substandard. Was charged for a movie I never ordered because the remote makes it too easy for kids to order by mistake.

Hotel management removed our entire team- 12 familes, 17 children- at 9:00 pm for an incident that no one really understands. No warning, we were having a drink on the patio that was supposedly "closed", when the manager arrived screaming at us. No one had told us we could not be there or asked us to leave. We packed up and went inside with no further incident. 30 minutes later the police arrived and informed us that we all had to leave- 5 families that were asleep in their room were also made to leave. The service was terrible from the moment we arrived. This is definitely not we expected and this hotel is definitely not the place to take families on vacation. The next hotel we went too was wonderful; the staff even attended our games!

The room and the hotel were designed with business travelers in mind. No maintenance staff after 5 pm. The room was very clean. The clerk was friendly and tried to help me with a curtain issue but it needed a maintenance person and none available. I managed to make it workable for the night. Only a slight glitch in a nice stay.

Success is the sum of details. Harvey S. Firestone. This hotel pays attention to details. With a soapdish in the bathroom, there was no gooey mess on the counter. The lumbar pillow was really comfortable after a long day of walking. The continental breakfast included hot food (delicious!) An efficient and friendly hostess kept everything clean and all food choices well supplied. The fresh fruit availability is a real plus.

My wife & I were simply looking for a nice and comfortable hotel to stay at while visiting nearby Deep River Water Park. This hotel went beyond our expectations. Service & attitude were very professional. Hampton Inn is hard to beat!
