The room was a good size for our family of 4. Towels were plentiful - in the room and at the pool. Location was great - for going downtown, or out of town. Breakfast was a positive experience for both children and a gluten-free adult. The person at the front desk was very helpful. Great recommendations for dinners and lunches. We arrived early, and our room was ready for us.

The service was outstanding. Parking was limited. This was our first stay at the Hampton. We greatly appreciated the staff's attentiveness to our needs and their friendly service.

I was in Anchorage on business. The hotel was booked by my boss. I stay at another hotel across the street on many trips to Anchorage, wish I was there this time.It started of bad having to wait over 1 hour for the shuttle. When I checked in the room had not been cleaned had to get another room. The room was ok but not really cleaned as it should have been. Only had 1 towell, had to call the desk for more. The pool was as cold as the frozen inlet so it was of no use. The staff was not rude just surly. Lots of noise from the room next door when I complained to the desk they stated they were a perfered guest andwas just having fun. Why am I ?There are many great hotels in Anchorage, this is not one of them.

We used Anchorage as a jumping off point for our trip to Alaska. The staff was very helpful and the free in-town shuttle service allowed us to get downtown easily, as well as to the bike trail.

The room was attractive, clean, and orderly. I hated how the halls were decorated. Would make one feel dizzy. My hotel stay was pleasant and comfortable. The hotel staff was very polite and hospitable. The complimentary breakfast was great! I would definitely stay there on my next visit to Anchorage.

Despite the pool and spa being closed, the staff was warm and friendly. The service was great. The breakfast lacked variety but was hot and plentiful. The rooms were clean and seemed to have new carpet. The shuttle will take you wherever you need to go. Applebys is in the parking lot. The price is worth the stay. It's my new home away from home.

This hotel is PERFECTLY located for whatever you want from your trip. The service staff does everything possible to assist you. I especially liked the fresh cookies!

Shuttle service provided was more like taxi service. They would take us and pickup anywhere in the city. Excellent! Absolutely nothing. The entire staff went out of their way to provide excellent service. They even provided shuttle service for us even though we had checked out of the motel earlier in the week. That's service with a capital "S."

This hotel is definitely not worth the price. Stay across the street at the Marriott for a whole lot less money and more comfortable beds.

the hotel was more than adequate for our needs. The breakfast was good and plentiful with lots of options. The staff was very nice. The rooms were a bit in need of freshening up however there were also great added attractions like photography in the elevators and small pictures at each room near the number to help you remember your room if you forgot the #.

"We chose the Hampton Inn because of the pool and hot tub. It was our wedding getaway. When we arrived we were disappointed to find out the pool and hot tub were closed for the month. Therefore, we changed our reservaations and had to call and wait 20 minutes on the phone to talk to a travel representative. I have been promised that within 30 days I would be credited for both of the nights that were canceled. I have not seen this yet on my credit card statement. "
