The gym was not available due to renovation. But the staff helped me to find an alternative.

Was staying for 4 nights. First night was on 4th floor. They have smoking rooms on this floor and entire hallway smelled like smoke. We were going to move to another motel but they were very helpful in moving us to another floor and offered refund for 1st night. There is absolutely nothing you can walk to for dining. My husband was in meetings so I was just stuck there. I would certainly not stay again. They were helpful in trying to make us comfortable and 2nd room was nicer but overall experience was not as good as you expect from a Hampton Inn.

bad breakfast. billboard had listed ""deluxe breakfast"" all u get protein wise is a scrambled egg hockey puck and some apples as the fruit choice. thatnk goodness for the yogurt because they could not water it down like the juice

I could feel the springs in the mattress and they squeaked. My back was hurting in the morning. Towels were very rough. Worse than the towels on the military bases family quarters when I visit my son in the Marines. Breakfast had very few choices and the area was rundown. The gas station in the area locks the door at 10 p.m and you have to pay at a window. The hotel was very clean but I was concerned about the valuables in my car when I saw a few people lurking about. Front desk clerks were nice but not too informed about tourist destinations. The housekeeping staff gave us a great tip on eating in the area. I didn't feel safe in the area, even with my husband. The casino was ok but this is not VEGAS.

The Hampton Inn on Monkhouse Drive was great and very relaxing for this business traveler. The room was spacious. The study desk was roomy. The lounge chair and foot stool was very comfortable. The television had wonderful movies. The bed was the best with enough cover to stay warm, but wouldn't bother the person who likes light weight covers. I plan to stay there in the future. The dining facility was as good as any hotel with the breakfast only arrangement. However there was a restaurant across the street and others not far away.
