I wanted a hotel that was within easy walking distance to the Expo Center and didn't cost an arm and a leg. Although the Hampton had purposely raised prices to take advantage of the Convention in town, it was still competitive in cost and was close to my destination. I was very happy with the level of service provided by the staff. I was provided a refrigerator in my room, which helped my expenses greatly by allowing me to avoid fast food restaurants. I had been placed in a smoking room which definitely smelled like a smoking room. (I don't smoke.) The staff provided a deodorizer which helped alleviate the smell quite a bit. Also, I was particularly pleased with the breakfasts. I stayed at the Inn long enough to enjoy three separate breakfasts and found each one to be wonderful. There was plenty of variety and the main entree differed daily. The primary worker, [...], was most helpful and had a great attitude that helped start each day the right way.I had read reviews warning about the airport noise; however, I was on the top floor, facing a flight path (I could see the planes coming and going), but was not bothered by the outside noises. I was bothered by the noise of neighbors though. They had small children (2 of them) that threw a fit each night at bedtime. The walls of the interior rooms sounded paper thin, which proved to be a distraction.Overall, I would rate my experience very positively and would stay again when I return to Louisville.

We liked that it had a 24 hour shuttle to the airport and let us leave our car parked at the hotel while we were gone. The heating system was either too hot or cold. No medium.

Great hotel with world class customer service. Staff was friendly and willing to make suggestions - Cardinal Hall of Fame...yum! They offered a free shuttle to the Expo Center which my husband and I were not expecting. Great experience all the way around. Highly recommend this place.

Went for the horse races..The staff was super and even offered a shuttle service to the track.The room was excellent and the front staffwent out of their way to make the stay great..would reccomend to anyone.

One of the best hotel stays I ever had. The staff was the best and the guys driving the shuttle were outstanding. The hotel was clean and nice. The location was excellent. I will definitely be back again.
