We weren't notified that there would be construction so the lobby was a disaster. The pool and fitness center were out of use due to the construction. We had been on a week long journey from the pacific coast to the mid west and back and this was the bottom of the list as far as the hotels we stayed at. I would recommend this hotel to a friend if the construction was finished.

The staff and the rooms were excellent. There was nothing bad. This is not the first time I have stayed at a Hampton Inn. Last year I traveled coast to coast and on the first night. It was at that time I would not stay at any other hotel. The beds were great, the staff was above the average and the breakfast was excellent way to start the day. For me there is no other hotel. The day before my flight I had called to let them know when I'd arrive at the airport. They told me to call when I got in. I called and they told me that the courtesy van was not available and to hop a Boise City Taxi and they would pay for it. There was taxis there (none from that company) and had to be called. When I arrived at the hotel they informed me that the first floor was being remodeled and so the pool and exercise room was unavailable. Everytime you left the building you had to walk through the construction. Had I known all of this prior to my trip I could have stayed in another location. It would have been nice if they would have offered me a discount due to the inconvenience. I normally stay at this hotel while in Boise but was disappointed this trip.

Good access to the interstate and airport. Older property for a Hampton and cheaper beds than the standard Hampton. I am a Diamond member with Hilton honors and stay on their properties at least two weeks a month. The beds where poor quality and the rooms needed a boost but the breakfast was great.

The Hampton Inn, Boise was a great night. We had a airport departure for 6 AM the following morning. There is an Applebee resturant across the street and we enjoyed our evening meal. We enjoyed the stay and will stay again in the future.
