Good location just outside city. Room comfortable and food and staff service very good.

The original Crowwood information gave the hotel as approx. 2 miles from the city centre. Based on this information I booked 3 rooms for my party who were attending a concert at Hampden Park. The hotel itself was nearer 10 miles from the city centre and 13/14 miles from Hampden.Having followed the directions on their site I ended up in an industrial estate on the outskirts of Glasgow resulting in a £15 taxi fare to the hotel. The rest of our party were charged £20 from Queen St. station. To say that hotel management were un-interested in our complaints would be putting it mildly!!It was all the fault of Laterooms was there only response. This resulted in our party paying a substantial amount of money in taxi fares to and from the city throughout the course of our stay. This matter is currently in the hands of Laterooms customer services who are completely supporting our grievance. So if you wish to play a round of golf at Crowwood GC I can recommend this hotel, for a base to explore Glasgow there are a lot more hotels closer and better value probably with staff who have taken a course in customer relations.

Hotel was good value, with free parking and internet access, room was clean and tidy but no sink plug did make shaving difficult.Breakfast was ok but there was a couple of items missing off the menu.

Very comfortableVery large modern room with good bathroom. Large TV, large carpark. Pleasant and helpful staff with a nice restaurant. Situated on a main road yet quiet especially as our room was next to golf course at rear. Very good value for money.A liitle difficult to access road to go into Glasgow due to traffic congestion and road layout.

very welcoming hotel booked a day before and for value for money you would be pushed to find better

A bit disappointingRoom good but disappointing that there was no hot water for shower in the morning due to a power cut the night before. Quite noisy due to party going on ( some rooms not affected by power cut, apparently). Staff pleaant but lacked basic training and not able to make ammends for lack of hot water. ( or lights the previous evening). Travelodge would have been better value for money.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was reasonable if limited in choice. The room was very pleasant and the bedroom was clean and tidy when I arrived. The bathroom was a little unclean in that the shower curtain was old and tired.

The dining room was exceptional excellent service with hot tasty food. More work is needed in the room I stayed in.

breakfast was a little basic but adequate. the replacement of out of stock hot food was a little slow.on the whole a good hotel and a bargain

Hotel side a bit shabby, the room door appeared to have recently been forced open; splinters of wood on the floor and the housing for the lock all cracked and giving way; one good push and the door would've opened. Lovely new LCD telly but no reception hence one 'snowy' channel.... Quilt lumpy and cheap. One the positive side the bar & grill was tastefully done out and the food good. £56 a night was cheap but probably about right

Nice bar area, rooms clean and free wifi

Initially sent to room which wasn't fit to stay in. Walked straight back to reception who advised me some rooms were getting refurbished and this must have been one of them although it was showing ready for occupation. My room was changed immediately, new room was fine but did have the odour of stale smoke. So very disappointing for a 1 night stay.Didn't use restaurant that night. Breakfast great, staff pleasant, food nice and hot.....................then 25mins to pay bill as card machine was on the blink.

Mmmm, not quite what I expected. Staff were friendly, but the hotel was cold, lacked atmosphere and I felt as though I was disturbing the staff by being there.Nice views across the golf course from the restaurant and great views of the aircon units and kitchen extraction units from my bedroom. The place wasn't busy. Could be lovely, but isn't (based on my one visit). Needs updating.

the hotel was excellent, our room had stains on the lightshades and the walls, possibly from a flood or other reason, never complained tho, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the restaurant and the food was excellent, they had karaoke the first night which was good fun
