just two nightsFrom the first friendly welcome to the final goodbye, we felt completely at home. Really couldn't fault anything. Made to feel most welcome. All the indications are that this is a very well managed hotel with extremely pleasant staff - and an excellent chef.

Hadley HeavenWe arrived at the hotel at 7.45pm, the receptionist was very helpful and friendly, we were in our room by 7.50, and what a room, it was gorgeous, two large windows, with heavy draped floor length curtains, two large leather chairs and a four poster bed. The spacious bathroom was fabulous, with a double shower and freestanding bath. Breakfast was one of the best I have tasted.

Good sized, comfortable room with en-suite but no TV remote and hot tap in bathroom sink not working. Good breakfast, friendly staff.

The New Year's Eve party was excellent. We couldn't fault any of it. The food was outstanding - both New Year's Eve and breakfast next morning. The only thing we would say is below our standard - the coffee! But rarely do we find a hotel with decent coffee! We would most definitely stay at Hadley Park again. The owner and his family were welcoming and provided just the right atmosphere. Our room was spacious (a standard room) and the bed was very comfortable.

This is very much a hotel set up for the business trade. Phoned up for directions to hotel when we were lost nearby but the receptionist wasn't clued up on local roads and didn't help. We enquired in the evening about having breakfast in our room and was assured that all we would need to do was ring down in the morning. We did, twice, and got no answer. Had to ask for cups and towels in our room. All small details but they really took the shine off our stay.

Would wholeheartly recommend the hotel - staff couldn't have been more helpful. Food was really very good. Restaurant gets busy weekend evenings and it is worth being prompt for your meal when you book. We were a bit too leisurely coming down to the restaurant and ended up eating two hours after we'd booked. Luckily food was worth it!

The first thing you notice is how well presented the entrance hall is with sitting rooms either side of the entrance door which looked very inviting, Very welcoming staff and a very well kept hotel, no bad words to say about the hotel what so ever.
