The rooms were charming with lovely bathrooms and kiva fireplace. The turndown service and butler service was much appreciated. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and bountiful. The shuttle service came in handy so we could avoid the parking challenges. The only negative was the shower door needed adjustment (I understand this was a common complaint.)and allowed water to leak on the floor.

Staff and atmosphere were great. Room lighting was dark. Great.

Checked in at 12:30 AM. Called from the road for directions & received excellent help. My reservation info was not online at the hotel on arrival. However, the night desk clerk took a copy of my confirmation, made notes for the desk clerk on duty the next day & upgraded us to a fabulous suite (for our inconvenience). Check out the following day went without a hitch.

We celebrated our anniversary at the Hacienda at Hotel Santa Fe and look forward to returning in the future. Everything was perfect from the minute we arrived until the time we checked out. The facilities were beautifully decorated and the staff members were friendly and anxious to make our stay exceptional. Our butler greeted us at the registration desk upon our arrival. Once in our room, we found a fruit basket, bottled water, and personal note welcoming us to the Hacienda. The Hacienda is located within walking distance of the Palace of the Governors, shopping and restaurants. The first afternoon we walked to the historic area, but on our second morning, the weather was cold and rainy, so we utilized the hotel's complimentary shuttle service. Later that afternoon the shuttle picked us up within 10 minutes of our call to the hotel. After the cold wet weather that day, we were pleasantly surprised to return to our room and find that our butler had lit the fireplace. We enjoyed the continental breakfasts and afternoon refreshments available in the lounge for the Hacienda guests. The view from the lounge is beautiful and the atmosphere is very warm and friendly.

The hotel was very authentic to Southwest decor. Very cozy and clean. Service was excellent and shuttle was great. Great place for families and couples. Morning breakfast was nice and views interesting.

We loved our stay at the Hacienda. The rooms were lovely, clean, with a fireplace and we were greeted with a basket of fruit and flowers. It included a private butler which we really didn't need. The concierge was very helpful. We ate at the hotel restaurant one night which was delicious and reasonably priced. While we ate, the hotel had a native american musician playing beautiful flute and spanish guitar music. We like to walk and picked this hotel because it was close enough but not inside the plaza. A free shuttle was available if we needed it but didn't. We were across the street from the farmers market which was great even in the winter. It actually snowed while we were there. They called the breakfast continental but it more than satisfied us. We ate by the fireplace and if days were warm there was an outside eating area with views galore. I loved it and would return in a heartbeat! And did I mention a spa... Only one less than glowing comment. We asked if we could get a room at a higher floor with a view,(basically an upgrade) but the staff at check in wouldn't budge, even though rooms were empty. Still we loved our room.

The room was very beautiful and comfortable. The television was not very good and I couldn't get the alarm cock to work. The room met the 4 star rating, the private butlers were pleasant, accommodating and professional. The room was inviting with a basket of fresh fruit and a welcome note. I would recommend this hotel to others.

We were so pleased with the 10 days we stayed at the Hacienda. Everything was perfect and all the staff were incredible. The building is beautifully decorated with fabulous American-Indian artworks, but it was still very cozy and comfortable. We loved the lounge with the roaring fire and a very complete continental breakfast every morning, plus the late afternoon appetizers. All the butlers were so helpful and friendly. The hotel dining room was small but the food was certainly up to all you'd expect in the best Santa Fe tradition. The hostess there was great and very accommodating. The location of the hotel and the distance to the Plaza was something we worried about. But it was not problem with the handy hotel shuttle available. All around it was a terrific place to stay. We had friends visiting us from Arizona who were going to stay elsewhere. We encouraged them to stay at the Hacienda also and they weren't disappointed. The lounges and lobby were great places to visit. We have been recommending the Hotel Santa Fe and the Hacienda to others and hope to return in a few months.

The hotel is beautiful, the service is impecable. The staff is attentive and profesional. However the restaurant was lack luster at best.

Upon arrival had to wait 10 minutes for our butler to take us back outside into the blizzard to get to the Hacienda. Went upstairs to complimentary Happy Hour and there were 3 crackers left, nothing else. Had dinner at the restaurant and this is the only time in 20 years my petite wife complained to me about the small portion of her entree - salmon. The mattress reminded me of the one I just replaced in our guest bedroom. The TV is at a 90 degree angle to the bed and therefore impossible to watch comfortably. The location is convenient, the artwork interesting and 2 hours of entertainment both evenings was enjoyable.

Location, staff. All rooms had double beds. They did not have any rooms with a Queen or King. Nice location - do not stay there if you want to share a bed. The rooms only have double beds. The hotel is being remodeled and some things like a work out area do not yet exist. You may have to put up with noise and dust.

It was wonderful! Did not want to come home. People so friendly, and the weather was unbelievable. No humidity. I have recommended to everyone who would listen to me. My husband was very pleased, and he is very hard to please. The only problem was with the rent car. We thought we were getting a Tahoe, and instead we had a Trail Blazer.

we had a concierge(BUTLER) take us to our room...showed us every detil...very helpful...went out of his way to answer any question I asked...even what was on HBO that nite...only thing i was disturbed about was the managers reception that nite...my husband was charged for 2 beers(10.00) on our account... a little english cab took us uptown for a tip (not required) and picked us up when we were ready...chocolates on the bed each night and a bed turn down...LOVELY!!!!we were in the Hacienda side...I would highly recommend this hotel...had a King bed and fireplace (we didn't use) but WOW....

Staff was friendly, service and room were nice. No bathtub in room, there was shower only. Excellent particularly nice and helpful staff. Enjoyed the breakfast and afternoon cheese/crackers/drinks. Short walk to main plaza attractions. Very comfortable room.

Hacienda at Hotel Santa Fe was ok - but at */night it was disappointing. The overall appearance of the grounds and interior was good. The location was ok, but not great - walking to the square would have been too much and the highly-touted shuttle stopped running at 10pm - not even late enough to pick us up from a long dinner. Other ""misses"": non-working spa in the Hacienda, poor service at breakfast, and the rudest staff I've ever encountered when we asked for wine glasses in our room. I've also stayed at Four Kachinas B&B and El Dorado Hotel and would choose either of them over this.

Located away from the plaza, the Hacienda was quiet and private. It's a nice walk to the plaza, however, there are shopping and dining opportunities very close as well. The butler service was a plus as was the rooftop breakfast each morning that's included with your stay. There's no fitness center on site.

Spacious room with fireplace. Free downtown shuttle. Butler/concierge service not very helpful. Nice hotel, but staff was not up to 4 star levels. Exception was the free shuttle drivers, who were very helpful.

Beautiful, comfortable room. Personal butler service. Easy shuttle to the plaza. Impersonal / rude check-in staff member. We were very satisfied with the Hacienda. With the exception of our first interaction with the check-in staff, every other encounter with hotel staff was very pleasant. The room was very cozy and comfortable, with premium linens and high quality furnishings. The butlers were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Be aware that the hotel is pet friendly - we had a couple of yappy dogs residing next door.
