Most of the staff and dining was excellent. Ate at one high end restaurant and the food was terrible plus the staff was unwilling to correct issues. If you are looking for a high end seamlessly perfect vacation, do not go to the Hacienda Del Mar. Be safe and stick with the Weston or the Hilton.

thIS HOTEL WAS EVERYTHING WE WANTED. ROOMS WERE NICE, SERVICE WAS GREAT, DRINKS WERE MADE REALLY WELL, THE POOL WAS SPECTACULAR, AND THE BEACH WAS BEAUTIFUL. IF I HAD ONE COMPLAINT IT WOULD BE THAT THE FOOD AND DRINKS WERE EXPENSIVE, BUT WORTH IT. i WOULD DEFINETLY STAY HERE AGAIN.

It was away from the busy part of the city. The staff was sometimes slow at getting my bill. Great resort. Great views of the ocean and whale watching.

This was our second visit to the Hacienda del Mar. Weather superb, pools and beach a 10 and service was above standard. The rooms need updating. Only restaurant I would recommend is Girasoles. Follow the happy hours for the best drink prices.

The spacious display of pools and beachfront and the eating areas were fabulous. The room could use a little update, the shower areas, etc. It was just 6 miles from Downtown so a short cab ride. the pool areas were beautiful and there were many and the restaurants were exquisite we never had a bad meal and the spa was recently renovated and it was posh my only complaint after visiting a few other hotel areas is that the rooms could use a little update they are old and some of the plumbing doesn't work great but you don't have much time in your room anyway also how about feather bedding and better sheets the air-conditioning did not work well but it was cool enough at night we didn't need it much. Overall we really enjoyed it.

Beautiful beaches, pools and meticulously groomed grounds. However, the hotel hits you with a hard timeshare pitch during registration. Internet service is a ridiculous US 18.00 per day. Meals at the hotel restaurants run about 25.00 per person. A margarita is 8.00, plus tip. The hotel meals can rapidily exceed the cost of your room, and there's no place else to eat within miles. The hotel is expensive but very nice; what isn't nice are the constant attempts to extract more money from your wallet with their overpriced extras.

Beautifully landscaped / Breathtaking White Sand Beaches. Location to Cabo San Lucas / No Hot Water for 3-days. The hotel was lovely ~ providing one had a rental car. Most of the hotel staff could speak the English language. I wish I could speak Spanish! I think the restaurants were drastically over-priced as one was held "hostage" without a taxi or rental car.

This was the 2nd time in 6 months that my wife and I used the Sheraton/ Vacation Club. The people are extremely friendly, service is excellent, spa services are wonderful, 4 different pools, 5 restaurants, shuttle service into town and a swimable beach (most of the year).

We went as a family. There were 20 of us. We had an excellant time. The activities were fun. We are going back again this year. This is our 4th year!!!!

I fell for the timeshare pitch but have regretted it almost since the day I signed the contract. We were promised 1 week in and 1 week outside the resort each year. When we have tried to book our week in the resort, we have been met with long times wasted on the telephone on hold. We can never get a firm answer from anyone or a confirmation number when we try to reserve a week. They don't respond to our emails or voice mail messages. There seems to very limited availability for weeks especially in the near term.

Great amenities, very large room. Checking out was difficult. Great resort at a great value. Excellent amenities. The room was large and comfortable. The Jacuzzi in the room was an added plus.

The rooms and the restaurants were really very good. The infrequency of the shuttle downtown and the cost. Really good hotel. They did try to get us to go on those tours more than once but I declined on each occasion

Architecture and landscaping. Prices for food are ridiculous and the time share presentation attempt was the most obnoxious I've ever encountered. A beautiful place but most people would not be able to afford their prices for food and drink. The necessity of taking a shuttle to town grew bothersome too, but even with the shuttle fee of $20 R.T. it still was cheaper to go to town and eat. The food was much better off premises too. They also were very rude at check-out, calling the room at 10:30 to ask why we were not out of the room yet, claiming there was a 10:00 AM check-out time. Beautiful, but I would not go back for these reasons.

Incredible setting and location. Large well appointed rooms. The time share sales pitch. Great place to stay in the loss cabs area. The hotel is conveniently located on the tourist corridor between cab san Lucas and san Jose del cab. Great place if you're not into staying in town or want to be equidistant from both. The rooms are large with mini-kitchens for the occasional snack. The grounds are immaculate.

Beautiful location and facilities, accommodating staff. No free internet service, timeshare sales pressure, pillows. Everything was beautiful and the staff very accommodating. We were disappointed that a hotel of this status did not provide free internet service to its guests. Overall, we had a wonderful stay & would definitely return!

Exquisite, well-kept facilities. Expensive, mediocre restaurants. The hacienda del mar is a beautiful, manicured oasis with endless pools and exceptional views of the sea of Cortez. The staff is friendly and efficient. We managed to avoid the timeshare presentation with a simple, firm "no" to the invitation -- which was issued repeatedly during our stay. Overall, a very pleasant place to relax by the pool with a drink and a novel.

The pools were great. Hotel staff was dumb and lazy. This ruined our experience at the hotel. The resort was great. We really enjoyed the pools, but were very annoyed at the hotel staff. They did not seem to be accountable for anything. Our remotes did not work in the room and after 3 phone calls we finally got someone to our room. We were charged $4.00 a day for maid service that we rarely received unless we called the front desk. Plus she would take our towels and not replace them. After too many calls to count I had to go to the front desk and take them out of a closet myself. Don't worry though they called an hour later to see if we got our towels which they never brought. Of course the next day they left 8 towels for 2 people. They also tried to sell us a timeshare at checkout without fully explaining what they were doing. Great resort though if the hotel staff can get their "act" together.

The beach and pools. The noise at night from the business travelers. Every time someone flushed their toilet in our section of the hotel it woke us up. Very beautiful beach and swimming pools. Great restaurants. Very nice hotel room with great shower, bathtub. Very comfortable place to stay.
