The HCC Taber Hotel is located at Aragon 256, in the heart of the city yet only thirty minutes from the airport.

Though renovated in 2007, the HCC Taber Hotel retains its decorative exterior, though the interior is a comfortable and modern facility. Hotel TaberBusinesslike & efficient is probably the best description of the Hotel. Staff at reception were helpful and friendly. If you want a holiday hotel where staff welcome you everytime you come in the door then this is not the place for you, try a family run place. On the other hand if you prefer low key but clean and efficient then the Taber will suit you.Price performance was good and location excellent, being at the quieter top end of the Ramblas - 5 minutes walking to PL Catalunya.Breakfast is pricey at 17 Euros but no more so than many similar city centre hotels.Was our 2nd stay and will not be our last.

Wonderful, central hotelI had already contacted the hotel before I confirmed the stay and the response was speedy and very informative.Upon arrival at the hotel the male receptionist was very helpful and checked us into our room quickly and efficiently informing us that we could book tickets for the city bus tour through the hotel. The room was clean and although the view from the hotel wasnt very good, the room offered everything you wanted from a hotel for a short break. I didnt realise when booking but the hotel was extremely central, being located round the corner from Casa Batllo and La Pedrera just up from the Placa de Catalunya.There were plenty of restaurants close to the hotel that were very reasonably priced.On departing the hotel we were able to book a taxi to the airport from the hotel which the receptionist organised for us. A lovely hotel. I would recommend this to family and friends due the a combination of factors; mainly the location of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff, nothing was too much trouble for them.

Noisy but niceThe Taber Hotel is a clean, centrally placed hotel, five minutes from the main Cataluna square.The staff are very helpful. The room we had was on the third floor overlooking the main road.While the windows are double glazed, the noise from the traffic, (and early bin men) will keep you awake...Nice hotel, shame about the noise...

The room was fairly comfortable but the beds were very hard. There was only one window which looked out over the kitchen areas. The breakfast was extremely expensive at 16 euros. The shower leaked over the bathroom floor and the car parking nearby was expensive.
