H10 do not make a drama out of a crisisWe have stayed at H10 before and will be visiting again.Only improvement would be to have darker curtains in rooms

Nice hotel, deservedly 4 start, v.good locationVery pleased with hotel, staff and location so following not moans just a couple of points to be aware of:No on-site parking so if you drive in please be aware need to park 5 minutes walk awayBreakfast pricey (but very good) if not booked with roomAs always in Barcelona beware of pickpockets, my wife had her purse stolen but usual practice of only keeping small amount of cash and cards, etc. elsewhere made it an inconvenience rather than a real proble.

This hotel is a very good option and offers everything they claim. There are several other H10 hotels in Barcelona, probably only one of which I may opt for next time (deep in the gothic quarter). The location is great- there is another H10 directly on the Ramblas, but that area gets VERY noisy and busy at night. We were glad we were a block away from the commotion. Double glazing on the windows were superb and kept out all the noise. I was quite impressed. Everything was great, only minor negatives were that I think the walls were a bit thin and the beds were hard- but that's about it! Clean, 4-star, amenities are top notch!

A Fantastic hotel - very good welcome and very helpful throughout our stay.Ideally situated for The Ramblas - Plaza Catalunya - and the bus for the tours and to get back to the Airport.

The hotel is very nicely decorated and comfortable. I had a room looking towards an interior court yard so it was very quiet and restful. The room was clean and very comfortable, with all the amenities. The only problem I had was the fact that the hotel was missing international channels on TV. I think it is basic service to offer CNN. Also, they had only one copy of the International Herald Tribune at the restaurant and that not always. I would think that a four star hotel would offer a number of free newspapers in English at the reception, I don't think it is such a great expense. Most of the reception staff was nice and friendly with a couple of exceptions. First, I wasn't offered the discount card for breakfast when I registered in the hotel. I paid full price for the meal the first three times until one wait staff asked me if I had the card and that is when I found out there was one. They remedied the situation at the end when I was offered a free breakfast, but the discount offer should have been presented initially, on the day of my arrival. The same person at the reception that "took care" of my checking-in, was less than helpful again when I asked for a "lost and found" number at the airport; I got a wrong one, although he head access so the Internet and the information was not hard to find. It was careless on his part. On another occasion, the same person, when asked where I could find a charger for my mac laptop answered that he does not know. I found out later from people on the street that right around the corner from the hotel there is a department store that sells everything, including mac accessories. I doubt very much that he didn't know and still, that is not an excuse or an acceptable answer, not the right attitude for a staff in a four star hotel.

We didn't use that restaurant, as there are so many Tapas bars to chose from, however on the last day we did notice that they have a deal on, buy one meal, get second 50% off and a happy hour too!Location is fantastic, just off Las Ramblas, 2 minute walk (if that) to Hard Rock Cafe, shopping mall, street entertainers.... the location really is great.Having read the reviews I requested a larger street facing room, as it was my partners birthday, and we got excactaly that (room 612) with a balcony.We also took the romantic package which included a glass of Cava on arrival, a bottle of cava in the room with chocolate coated strawberries (very nice!), breakfast in bed between 7:30 - 10:30, we'd ring down in the morning and it would be up within 5 minutes, and a late checkout at 3pm instead of the standard 12pm. Only Euro 90 per room, per night! Fantastic!! Reception staff were friendly, they had charged Euro 3.22 per day for having breakfast in the room, I mentioned it was included in the romantic package and they took it off straight away.I would stay here again without a doubt! We had a great time, and we're planning another visit by the end of the year!

I have stayed here several times on business and although it has a brilliant location, standards of service seem to have slipped over the years. The staff now only seem to do the minimum required. Also on all other stays at this hotel, breakfast has been included in the price. On my last stay, I had to pay for this separately.

Great location, air port bus service and cafes and shops nearby and also las ramblas.Metro link and you can walk to most of the sites from this hotel. you do get coffee and tea making stuff, unlike other hotels in the area!!thats the good news!!!bad news, hotel shakes due to the metro under the building, so take some sleeping aids.

The hotel staff is truly wonderful. They went out of their way to be obliging to us. The buffet breakfast was terrific. They served campagne in the afternoons and also always had peanuts or sandwiches or something to nosh on. They had free internet service which was very good. I would very much recommend this hotel. When we got there completely exhausted from the trip, we got the room that we requested. Unfortunately, on the building ajacent to ours on the same floor, workmen were banging out concrete from the terraces non stop. We told them and they asked us if we would like to change rooms and that they would help us to do so. We did and the room we were in was even bigger with a stall shower and king sized bed. It was located at the quiet part of the hotel, room 706 and it was very comfortable. We rate this hotel very high.

Great Location, we had 2 rooms on the 4th floor. SIngle was great for elderly Father in Law with a walk in shower. Our double was ok but a little run down. Breakfasts were pricey so we went to local cafes and had cofee and juice with rolls for about 20 Euros for 3 people.

We did walk past the hotel at first (it was late) but it was an excellent location, just off the top of the Ramblas. We went room only so we could try local food. Room was a good size on the 8th floor but had frosted windows which we didn't like. A1 bus from airport good means of getting from and to airport. Watch out for surcharges for eating outside, some places it was negligible but others it was per item and a rip off (we thought). Couldn't recommend sightseeing bus, took ages to get anywehere because of traffic. We liked Matmala just round the corner from hotel, it was a deli, bar and restaurant and what we had was excellent. We found the locals to be very friendly.
