The resort was great! I wasnt sure what to expect but when we got there we were very pleases the staff was all very friendly. Rooms were spotless huge for 2 people all in all we loved we would definetly go back. The resort was away from the main downtown Fort myers beach which ended up being great it was quiet less traffic and the beach was alot cleaner!!!

Very pleasant rooms, quiet and away from the busy hubbub. No restaurant on site, small poor area. Very pleasant surroundings, safe, beautiful large sandy beach, beach chairs, etc. to rent on site. Barbeque grills for use on site. Easy to get in and out of, range of groc. stores, pharmacy, shops close by. I've stayed here 3 times now and have enjoyed the privacy I get, when I need a place to relax.

We had a great time with family here. My sister in law got married there and it was beautiful. Our room was not ready when we got there and they gave us a 3 bedroom on the first floor on the beach front for the same price it was great. They had everything we needed. The washer and dryer was very helpful. Again do not forget the sunscreen! I thought I would not get much sun when we got there in the afternoon and was a lobster by 8 pm after an hour of sun. But there was not a need for anything. The market is close too so we cooked a lot there. Just bring clothes and a good attitude and have fun.

"The perfect hotel! The GullWing is right on the beach, very quiet (construction next door is complete), lovely views, and uncrowded. The room was beautiful, HUGE (seating for 14 at the table, bar and counter, plus 6 on the patio), and super-clean. Free extras in your room: laundry soap, dryer sheets, (washer/dryers are in the units), paper towels, dishwasher detergent, dishtowels. Can't wait to go back!"

"The rooms are excellent but the view is terrible. I ask on three seperate occassions if there was a gulfview in a one bedrrom and was told there was however when I arrived, there was not. The ""gulfview"" is the condo on either side of Gullwing. It was VERY frustrating to say the least."

The condos are great but be warned that only the 3 bedrooms have direct gulf views. Our 2 bedroom was an island view with tons of construction noise (jackhammering) from the condo remodeling next door.
