Good for breaksIt was a small room, but it is in a great location, and they offer a very good breakfast.

a good choice for short stayThis was a really pleasant B and B, clean and well equipped, helpful staff and good food. Close to restaurants for evening meals. Parking at a premium because of location but discounted within nearby parking zone.

I actually stayed at the Gullivers sister place, New Steines Hotel, a couple of doors away. Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful without being intrusive or overbearing. And the breakfast was superb.

May in BrightonRoom was small but well presented and clean, wi worked well, sink needed replacing. public areas needed cleaning. The hotel should really have been billed as a B&B. Good value at £59 but wouldn't want to pay any more

Great place for a short breakWe really enjoyed our stay in Brighton. We found the staff at Gulliver's to be very helpful and friendly. The room was a little on the small side but was clean and tidy and in our opinion good value for money. Breakfast was great - a lovely choice and food all cooked to order, served by pleasant staff and a great start to the day. The location was very good, close to the sea front and a nice walk in either direction on the coastal path - one way to the Marina and the other to Hove.

Lovely, friendly hotel; we had a relaxing time here and really enjoyed the super-comfy mattress! Breakfast was a highlight, and we loved the wall paintings outside the windows. Great bars and pubs within easy strolling distance, shops only 10 mins walk away. The only problem was finding a parking space - we'll come by train next time.....

The room I found very disappointing.I had expected to have a toliet in the room, but had to go out of my room to get to the toilet. It had a shower but this was strange as I would rather of had a toilet and no shower. The breakfast was quite plain and bland.

Hotel was ok, did what I needed it to, but was woken up at 5am by birds on the roof outside my room. It sounded like they were in the walls. This was very annoying.

Make sure you read the parking permit instructions carefully yourself otherwise you ewill get a hefty parking ticket!

The room was small, but in light of the overnight rate (22.50) still represented excellent value for money. Everything was very clean and there were some nice unexpected touches - free bottle of mineral water, packet of mini-biscuits, little bottles of shower gel, shampoo, etc. Service was friendly and the quality and selection of breakfast options (English and range of Continental choices) quite superb. A real touch of 'la belle France' in the attention to the food! I thought this hotel was a real 'find' and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably-priced billet in Brighton. Thank you to the proprietors and staff.

I was very pleased with this hotel. It was clean and tidy. Everything worked fine, yes the bathroom was a little small, but it worked perfectly. The beds were very comfortable too. The wardrobe doors rattled when you walked across the floor, but this is only a tiny gripe. The best part was the cooked breakfast. It was brilliant. I asked for extra, which they were happy to do. Quality sausages, bacon and eggs. And this was included in the price. All in all I was very pleased. I will use this hotel again when I need to. If you need somewhere to crash if you're out in Brighton, this is perfect.

very odd. Not a hotel more a guest house. No TV remote control, but good to have a Freeview TV for once in Brighton. If you want breakfast before 0800 you have to walk to another hotel two doors down !

I'm sad to report that this hotel is way past its best, my room was at ground level above the stairway to the basement breakfast room. The room was clean but grubby and dated and the bathroom (hallway) was a joke. It's difficult to shower in a bath one hand holding the shower head etc etc. Had I not been so tired from the day I'd had or the fact that I had paid in advance I would have run a mile.Recomendation for the hotelier! TRY HARDER AND SPEND SOME OF THE MONEY ON IMPROVING THE OFFERING
