Looked at the town.

The motel reeked of smoke in the non-smoking area & rooms & there was only 2 towels for 5 people. This motel smelled awful. The bathroom had dirty corners and mop boards. The bedroom area had cobwebs in the corners at floor level and several spiders were on the walls. I will never stay at a Guesthouse again.

My husband, child, and I stayed here. It was great!!! The rate was great and so was the very friendly staff. It may not be the ritziest, but it was a wonderful stay

The breakfast was a surprise, actually served in a restaurant by a waitress. It wasn't all-you-can-eat so it disciplined me to only eat what was served which was plenty. They were remodeling the lobby at the time, it should look good. My king room had a recliner which was great and looked like it had just been redecorated. It's an older hotel but you couldn't tell from the rooms. They do not have pillowtop mattresses, but the bed was still okay.

Inexpensive and close to airport. Old facility, problem with ants, old linens, poor heating. This facility is good for someone who doesn't expect too much in room accommodations.

We were married in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on April 4, 2009. The view of the Snake River and the Temple were awesome from our room. The whole Guest House staff was great very happy and friendly. The only problem was that the door hinge was a little squeaky...Other than that it was a perfect way to spend our first night as husband and wife especially just before we started finals! :-)

This the most disgusting hotel I have stayed in! There were bugs on the floor that appeared to be small ants. The noise from the lounge was horrible as were the drunks stumbling up and down the hallway. I will never stay here again! I will pay the extra $20 to stay at the Ameritel or the Red Lion next time. I couldn't wait to get out of there!

The room had not trace of cigarette smell. The lobby was very smokey smelling it was close to a lounge.

I travel a lot for my job and am looking to save money when I can. This hotel is a great bargain. For the money I received a king room with a recliner chair and refrigerator for my water bottles. The free breakfast was a serve-out in their restaurant. For dinner, the restaurant serves english food, if you like that sort of thing. If was different but large portions. Skip the fitness room and take a walk along the river instead. It's beautiful. The staff was wonderful.

The room was clean, the breakfast was good. Internet worked much better than other motels I have stayed in. No complaints. I will stay there again when I go to Idaho Falls.

Location. Very oldentire place smelled of smoke. This hotel was obviously built in the late sixties or seventies and although clean, has had no renovations since.

The room was not what was advertised - the bed did not have a pillowtop mattress, the bathtub needed a good scrubbing, the room was not prepared for new occupants i.e. there was one towel, there was food in the fridge from other guests, the recliner in the room had a rip in it and was not clean, and it was almost impossible to regulate the A./C in the room to a consistent temp. We were not able to take advantage of the free breakfast because the restuarnt only had 2 people working and the wait times for seating and service were not compatible with having young children who were hungry. Overall we were really disappointed with this hotel and wished we had spent a little more money to stay at one we were more familiar with.

The Guest House Idaho Falls is an old facility. It's had several owners and name changes over the years, and is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, motel on motel row in Idaho Falls. The current owners are trying to make a go of it, but let's face it, this is an old facility that was had a so-so make over. The clientel leaves a bit to be desired also. I their defense, they do had a decent cafe on-site which offers pretty food and service, and you do get a free breakfast coupon as part of the room fee. And let's not forget Jaker's Restaurant (one of Idaho Falls best) is right across the street.

The front desk staff was great. First room no hot water moved to another room it was not clean. The rooms were not clean the front desk people were great, but the cleaning people are not cleaning the bathrooms, bed spread was not clean. I just not happy with the all over cleanliness of the room.

Hotel was great! Recliner chairs and refrigerators in rooms were really nice. The free restaurant breakfast was a nice change compared to other hotels. The rooms were updated and looked great. Very clean. Nice sidewalk along river. It was a bummer pool wasn't open yet although hot tub is huge.

Good location, new carpet. Ants in the bathroom, bathtub dirty. Would not recommend it, overpriced for the quality of the room, older site, needs lots of work. Ok if nothing else available, could not wait to get out of there.

Room was a previous smoking room, smelled like old cigarete smoke. Room was way overpriced for what you get. Could get a nice room elsewhere for the same $$. It is a nice location, just in need of upgrade. Decor is stuck in the 70's. Very friendly staff.

It was quite and comfortable. Small bath rooms. I would recommend to a business traveler. It looks like it needs a lot of updating. Which was going on when I was there.

Staff great. Rooms and facilities all clean. Pool was really an excellent, quiet spot to relax in the evening and morning sun. Rooms had minimal features but everything worked and was clean. Great overgrown plants in halls. Room windows don't open.

Location. Staff. The staff at this hotel was not at all helpful. The rooms were dirty and in poor repair. I recommend this hotel only to business travelers who are alone and on a budget.
