Staff was very friendly and helpful in finding out information. The Jacuzzi was very nice to relax in. The rooms were adequate with a fridge and microwave, everything was clean. Rooms are pretty sound proof as we did not hear people out in the hall. Hotel offers 10% off of Famous Daves and other local eateries close to the hotel. The Mayo shuttle runs every 50 minutes (would have liked to see it run more often) Would definetly stay here again

Near to whatI was doing. ACdid not work well. Cards to get into rooms did not work well.

I felt kind of bad for them, they had just been "renovated". My room was the single with a queen bed. The furniture was shabby, the ceiling in the bathroom looked badly damaged and hastily repainted. The bed was a queen that had king sheets on it. The carpeting in the room had a HUGE hump in it like a snake was under it. The bed was ok, comfy enough to sleep on. The staff was really nice with the exception of the crabby man who was there early in the morning the day I checked out. He seemed happy to have me go. LOL! I would say if you cant afford something else, stay there. If you expect luxury, you are in the wrong place.

there was a several high school soccer players staying at the hotel, the night manager did not quiet them until they were called two nights in a row at 1:30 in the morning.. overall the hotel was great very friendly clean rooms good parking great pool but we like to sleep when we stay at a hotel.

It was very comfortable and clean. We were doing tests at the Mayo clinic. They were very helpful to us to set up the shuttle and the breakfast was very good too. We would stay there if we have to come back again.

We visited family and went to the Mall of America.

Location was near Mayo. Lots of people using Mayo were there. No bugs as far as I could tell. I did not like: service, not worth the money, convenience, and cleanliness. Not going to go there again.

"Rooms are very old. Wall paper under vanity falling off the wall, knicked tubs, kitchenettes are OLD OLD OLD, beds are old and need updating. Do not plan to stay again even if it's cheap. Many places are only $5.00 or so more so I'm going to check them out."

It was convenient to the Mayo clinic. But as a woman traveling alone, I found it a little scary. Lot's of secluded areas. Not much lighting in "back" where you parked. Elevator was FAR from the front desk. Definate "dip" in the mattress, chairs and couch.

Continental breakfast was adequate and the staff willingly provided the extra pillows and towels we asked for. The hotel was quite dingy and the beds uncomfortable, lots of mold noted.

The hotel was average, but was good for the price.

Rooms were huge and pool was great. Pillows were lumpy. This hotel was easy to find and great for everything we were looking for. There were refrigerators and microwaves in every room.

Friendly/helpful Staff and quite rooms. The location is the reason I chose the GuestHouse Inn.

They let us have the toilet plunger in our room for three days. The bathtub drain was grosser than gross.. Noisy hotel with a dirty bathtub and a toilet that would not flush properly.

It was hands down the worst experiences I have ever had at a hotel -- and I once was in a hotel in Russia that caught fire, with military police all around. There was no rest to be had. A wrestling tourney was in town, hotel full of kids body slamming in the hallways so I didn't even feel safe walking through the hallways. When they finally (after 3rd call to desk) were quieted down, the chaperones started in, drinking and partying. At 1:05am a very drunk chaperone pounded on my door (lost). When I checked in, was told I should book directly with them, not through Orbitz. Also a broken bathroom door in my room, dirty door jam & switch plates, with N1H1 being a concern.

The room was beyond expectations. Full kitchen with dishes. Very comfortable and great staff! This hotel was obviously working hard to improve itself as a whole. Even tho there was mold present on the walls in the hallway, they were scrubbing and cleaning. One positive note, the cleaning staff was very polite and all smiles! Also, the desk personnel, went above and beyond to help me with some personal needs. I will come back again, after remodeling is finished!

Quiet, had schedules for bus travel to the Mayo Clinic. Poorly decorated. It was clean in the rooms and lobby but just dingy in decor, had a lot of space in the rooms, very 60's windows, cheap decoration and windows, 60's building meaning devoid of design, modern cheap but fine for a few days.

It was very quiet. Beds were not as comfortable as some hotels in same class. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Breakfast was adequate.

Internet access. The entire property is very run-down. Run-down. Dark. The room was clean however.
