This hotel was centrally located for the destinations we went to, Six flags and Universal Studios. It was not the secluded garden as described, the grounds were kept up but seemed smaller than advertised. The rooms were clean but the carpets were stained and dingy in the hall ways and lobby. The water pressure in the showers was too strong, almost painful. I was not overly impressed but still consider it a good value for the price because of the location. If you are looking for a hotel to enjoy as more than just a place to sleep while enjoying tourist activities during the day I would not recommend this hotel.

The breakfast is good, and they provide the internet service in the lobby. The room is too old and door cannot close properly. The lobby looks fine, but the room is terrible. If you just need someplace to stay overnight (check-in late, and check-out early), then it is an ok choice.

Our stay (comprising of 8 families for a baseball tourney) was very comfortable and any concerns we had were handled immediately. Customer service definitely a plus here.

This hotel's grounds were beautiful, as described. However, the beds were uncomfortable and the hotel had an old, musty smell. The location was convenient. The price was fair and the location was safe.

In-room wireless internet, eggs at breakfast, fridge in room no extra charge, room well cleaned, TV worked fine, good shower head, iron/hairdryer fine. Exterior dingy, hallways smell like cleaner, requested wake up call never came (2 days), drapes covered AC, mattress very poor, staff unfriendly. Please see above.

The carpet everywhere is so old and dirty you'd think you could feel and hear the squish. I didn't want to touch anything in my room. Right on noisy Sepulveda.

It is great place for those who do not want many-many extras. Good & clean room. Free wireless internet. Complementary breakfast. Nice big pool. It is a value for money.

Nice courtyard area. The exterior room doors looked like a military prison. Basically clean, but pretty shabby. The rooms in the front of the hotel looked lovely from the outside, but the room entrances on the sides of the hotel looked like a military prison. Very depressing, and not at all romantic. You need a token--not just your room key--to use the ice machine. We were not advised of this at check-in, so we had to return to the lobby for a token before we could fill our ice bucket. When we requested a second token in case the need arose for more ice, our request was declined and we were told one token was all we could have for our stay.

This was the second time we stayed at this motel. Both times we found the rooms to be clean and the staff friendly but not particularly outgoing. There are some signs of aging, e.g., doors chipped and not aligned with frame. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The motel is quite close to the 405 and 118 freeways and not far from the 5. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Queen beds; free parking. Outside could use paint. This hotel used to be a Best Western. It looks like work has been done recently since becoming the Guest house The landscaping was nice in the courtyard around the pool. The pool was clean as was the room. An expanded continental breakfast was included in the price (waffles, cereal, Danish). A computer was available in the lobby with free Internet access. The hotel is not fancy but was comfortable.

We slept here only, only problem was whoever took my reservation spelled my name extremely wrong, so when the lady checking me in took my id, she had a hard time looking my reservation up, otherwise, very clean quiet place, professional staff, etc. Maybe they should have a professional plumber come look at their bathroom fixtures as well, the shower head was not installed properly, and the toilet did not flush very strongly because the pieces installed in it were not made for that brand of toilet.

Our request for 2 beds was honored right away. The smell in the room was not good. The up side is relatively convenient for Universal Studios visitors, friendly staffs, close to highway and restaurants. The down side is some smell in the room. Also it would be better if the ice machine is inside the hotel. Overall I am satisfied with it with the price I paid.

We had a family reunion for our mothers 90th birthday.three of the families stayed here with 9 children. we all enjoyed the breakfasts and the variety they served. they were helpful in letting us use the kitchen facilities to prepare for the party we had at my sisters house. I would stay here again in a similar situation.

Absolutely nothing. Old motel, questioned cleanliness. Old motel with old beds and old carpets. Refrigerator in room did not work. Very loud motel inside and outside.

Everything was fine until after check out my boyfriend realized he had left his favorite shirt on a hanger in the room, when he went back to find it, no one would admit to having it, the woman who cleaned the room said she didn't see it, probably kept it and gave it to her son. If someone comes back for it, give it back, if they don't, it's fair game.

The size of the room, the size of the pool, and the baroque grill. Very limited Items in the continental breakfast, No hot tub. limited amount of ice is only permitted with tokens from the front disk. Nice pool area, with no spa, no exercise room. Breakfast is limited to sweet and unhealthy few items. Two story building with nice size rooms and no elevator. The rooms with double beds have queen size beds that are, comfortable for two people to share each bed. My overall experience is satisfactory.

Hot water? They give you coffee. Worst location ever. There is no way I was staying there again. My trip there last month was so miserable I do not know where to begin. No cables offered for plug in internet. Enormous rooms, hard bed, thin sheets, prison soap, no privacy from the parking lot that is right outside the door. I had to spend an insane amount of time on the freeway to get to hotel. This hotel is barely in LA County, and very confusing to find!! The amount of money I spent on gas going from my meetings to the hotel could have fed a lot of starving children in Africa. Do not stay at this hotel. Every time I came in to the hotel at night they were unfriendly and stared at me. The security guard followed me to my door. It is your worst nightmare as a business traveler

At today's prices this room was a good value, it was clean, quiet, and near my final destination...

Conveniently located to freeways. Good breakfast. Lobby and downstairs area smelled. Hotel staff was not very helpful for our family (two young children) Our family drove from Phoenix to Sacramento, w/ a stop at this hotel. The best thing about this hotel was the location. It was right off the freeway in the northern part of Los Angeles. The area right around the hotel was not the best, but we still felt safe. This was definitely a good hotel for the price we paid.
