Grupotel Acapulco Playa

The luxurious Grupotel Acapulco Playa hotel is located in the centre of the tourist district, just across the palm tree-lined promenade from the kilometre-long sandy beach. A range of restaurants, shopping venues, bars, nightclubs and links to the public transport network are located in the hotel's immediate vicinity. The airport is 7 km from the hotel.

The hotel was built in 1958, renovated in 2002 and offers a total of 143 rooms on 4 floors of which 133 are doubles, 6 are singles and 4 are suites. The hotel facilities include a 24-hour reception with a safe for storing valuables, a currency exchange desk and 2 lifts. The hotel has a cafe, 2 bars, a TV room and an air conditioning restaurant with a separate non-smoking area and children's highchairs available. In addition, the hotel has a conference room, Internet access (with a WLAN access point), laundry service as well as bicycle hire and a car park. The hotel also has a sizeable garden (100 m²).
