I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! I surprised my girlfriend with a birthday getaway and we were very impressed with the beauty and level of service. It was also a great place to relax and recuperate after long days on South Beach or in the Coconut Grove area.

When I was checking out, the hotel unexpectedly charged me extra around $85 resort fee and sale tax. It annoys me because according to orbitz terms and conditions as to my deal, your price includes all the taxes and fees. I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me out with this issue.

It is excellent place (even for bad weahter) - on island, heated pool and protected from winds. Fully serves the five star rating. Service was outstanding. Even if you don't have better car then "midsize" rental car (+no Louis Vuitton bags) compared to standand "Lexus". (Vallet parking!) Still keep in mind that there will be added ca 10% resort tax. Actually quite justified if you get room for low season 200$ = 130EUR. 130 EUR in five star hotels in Europe is .. very modest. Room was with huge bed, big LCD TV, balcony and magnificient view to bay. Plus there was some healthy spa stuff available for extra money but we didn't tried. Because sauna in northern countries like Estonia and Finland is something you .. take as granted.

This resort is just beautiful... very intimate, very special and very private. You feel like you are in another world when here..The views are spectacular and you'll just want to stare out into the bay for hours... we did. The service levels were also incredible, from Erica at the front desk to the staff and therapists in SpaTerre. The rooms are absolutely wonderful, very spacious and a very comfy bed. The LG plasmas are a nice treat too!!!! Just overall, our stay was fabulous! I can't wait to return!

I would strongly recommend the Grove Isle Hotel if you're looking for a location with beautiful sights, great dining, friendly service, and relaxation. The hotel is about 15 minutes away from South Beach and can easily be accessed with a cab. If you want to get away from South Beach and relax, Grove Isle provides you with that comfort. There are numerous tennis courts, a restaurant, a pool and jacuzzi, and a bay that takes your breath away. It is a great place to be if you're looking to spend some quality time with your significant other. It provides for intimate moments, as well as fun activities to enjoy.

Small (48 rooms), Grove Isle is tucked away on a man-made isle off the coast of Miami. While not offering every thing a large resort hotel might, it does offer something the larger hotels can't- service done to a perfection, with style in an intimate, casual setting. The rooms are spacious and clean with all the amenities including large flat screen TV with internet access. the Baleen restuarant offers oustanding, distinctive cuisine served at tables tucked among the gardens and looking out over the water to Key Biscayne. Ideal! There is a small but quite nice spa on the property and access to the nearby Pat McEnroe Tennis Center is free to guets. All in all, a nice change from the usual larger hotels in the area and certainly perfect for those who like their stays to be more low key and upscale. A very attentive staff and well-kept grounds round out what I would call a little gem off the coast of Miami.

Hotel is nice, we only expended a night there, location is good, pool is very small and unfortunately we couldn't stay because there were workers at the garden and pool was dirty and quite noisy, also the hotel charge a 25 dollar fee and not offered anything that justify we couldn't use the fitness center because it was under remodeling. Glad that we only expend one night there

Very nice property. The pool area is truly a joy to use, and the rooms are quite nice as well. I found the service to be top notch, and the restuarant food was quite good. Very nice overall experience. Little touches, like the coconut smell that is pumped through the hotel, really finish off the experience.

The hotel is spacious, clean, and charming. The staff is professional, polite, and helpful. The overall feel of the hotel was a bit uptight. The room service food wasn?t worth """" for a snack. Took 5 hours to get a tooth brush sent up! The bedding felt clean but the pillows were too high and uncomfortable to sleep on. Location is awful because it?s isolated and you must drive on a large bridge across water; there?s nothing to do within walking distance! CAB FARES high """"(one way)to any location.

For business travel, location was great - easy drive to meetings in Miami, Miami Beach and Coconut Grove.

I feel that this was once a gorgeous hotel that has not had much upkeep in about 10 years. The rooms had nice features (great shower) but smelled musty and were dark. There were hidden fees everywhere a 25 resort fee which did not seem to include much. A parking fee you will not be aware of unless you ask (24) overnight. It is a great location and an interesting piece of property but not worth anything over 125 a night and definitely has ludicrous fees that don't give you any added bonuses. Not pleased with this hotel. Brunch is pricey and not all that spectacular. Would not stay here again

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and courteous. The grounds were absolutely beautiful, and our view of the bay was breathtaking. The room was very clean and inviting. Shopping at CocoWalk is two miles away, and the beach is a fifteen/twenty minute drive so having a car available is recommended.

Experience was great. Hotel is gorgeous, food is DELICIOUS. Island Security Staff are rude, inconsiderate, and extremely unprofessional. I complained to the front desk regarding a situation I encountered with Island Security while coming through the gate - front desk staff were uninterested and rude as well.

The hotel is nice but the service is the worst first day my room was not cleaned and was told the house keeping left at 5 PM, nothing could be done, service in the restaurant very slow, and at 7to 11 I was told I could not get breakfast because the kitchen closed at 11. Be aware of all the hidden extras you will be charged for they can really add up

Hotel was very nice-was escorted to our room by staff and baggage was brought up shortly. Most of the hotel was empty as most of the people use the hotel and amenities live in condo's on the island. I can't say enough about the staff-very courteous and couldn't do enough to meet any needs you have. Spa was very nice and the gym was small but had enough equiptment for anything you wanted to do. The food was very good but also very expensive. The menu was somewhat limited. Usually breakfast cost anywhere from $20-30$, lunch $50-$60, and dinner around $220 with tip. The fire pit is a nice touch at night.

Comfortable room. Room had fridge stocked but way overpriced things. Staff was not always at front desk or valet stand when needed car. Wedding was rioght below our room, made for a noisy evening.

The Grove Isle Hotel & Spa was a wonderful experience for me and my fiance. The staff is very attentive, helpful and friendly. The check-in and check-out took us only 3 minutes (amazing). The room was very comfortable and clean with a espectacular view of the bay. The location is very attractive and romantic, especially at night time. At one time we felt that the hotel was only for us because there were not a lot of people like other hotels. We could walk, expend time at the Jacuzzi and rest on a chair next to the bay and nobody was around, only us, you can image? We definitely recommend this hotel to all the couples who want to have a very romantic and relaxing time. The only con is that there are not restaurants or shopping centers in the area.
