The hotel was perfect in every way. I can not think of anything that would be an improvement. The hotel itself had wonderful service and the location could not have been better.

Room not ready at 3.30pm! Receptionist was cold,matter of fact and rude (considering how much you pay to stay in a hotel like this), all rectified by a duty manager? who gave us afternoon tea on the house and gave us a room upgrade that surpassed any room I have ever stayed in! Rest of our stay was amazing and all of the staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for you, I just hope it rubs of on the receptionist!

My husband and I just returned from London after staying at the Grosvenor House. The hotel provided unpretentiously luxurious white-glove service and no detail was overlooked. The staff was friendly and attentive and the rooms were very spacious and comfortable with every possible amenity at your fingertips. Best of all, the hotel is quiet and within walking distance to all of the major attractions. This hotel is without a doubt my top pick for London. Midge Hand, Woodstock, GA

This hotel was exceptional, the service was quite responsive and the rooms were spaceous and clean. I think the bed was one of the most comfortable that I have ever slept in! Not super close to the tube, but still well worth it.

this hotel is under going restoration. The business centre and pool are not yet ready. The quality of what is done is first rate. I found out that the Grosvenor House was concidered the Top Hotel in London along with the Dorchester for many years. The current hotel is well on it's way to reclaim that position. The hotel is right across the street from Hyde Park and close to the tube. Only complaint our room was really or should I say REALLY small. The room was the bed. If you turned off the lights you could be in bed before the room got dark. I would definitely return

Great hotel for the price with a great location. High cost of room service and parking. When you go for a 5 Star luxury hotel you need to remember that you get a bargain on the room costs, but the other services which you may need still come at the 5 Star price. The hotel lived up to its billing in both respects. Our room lacked a view, but this was certainly the only problem.

It had a great location on Hyde Park and was a few blocks from the Marble Arch underground. Staff was awful. They put me in a smoking room, then made me wait 2 hours (until after 3pm) for a non smoking room to be cleaned. Lovely place, I was bottom of the barrel in terms of service. I am also a Marriott gold elite and still got no cooperation and very little satisfaction on my check in. It really made coming into London tough.

Beautiful room, comfy bed, elegantly decorated. This is a very elegant hotel. Rooms are well appointed. Concierge very helpful. Check in and check out very efficient. Fresh flowers and beautiful lobby. This is definitely a 5 star hotel.

Great bathrooms. Staff seemed too busy to attend to little things like luggage aid or opening doors. We stayed in this hotel for one day. To our surprise, the front desk upgraded our room to a suite on the top floor. The room was very large with a sitting room, large bedroom and large bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. I think that the service was good (its hard to find faults after being upgraded), however, I would say that some of the little things were missing from a true five star experience such as help with luggage upon checking, attentive doormen etc. These are little things that probably were just overlooked during our brief stay; all in all, the stay was great and I would stay here again.

Perfect location. Checkin not smooth. Fantastic location on Hyde Park, close to everything. Only real complaint was check in process. Arrived at 2:30 & was told room wasn't ready, no problems, they checked our luggage, we walked around for 1.5 hours, bigger issue was when we returned room still not available, clerk would not give us an exact time (only ended up being 15 minutes) and offered no compensation, would have been thrilled with a complimentary drink but not here. Other than check in would agree with 5 star rating, but really put a damper on our experience and have never had such a bad check in even at much lower class hotels.
