Booked on internet at a great rate euro 140.00 our room was of a very high standard the separate walk-in shower was great. We were able to have breakfast at 11.30am. I would highly recommend this hotel for our business meetings.

A good quality hotel in a good locationOverall, we were very pleased with our choice of hotel and felt it was good value for money given that it was right on O'Connell Street - close enough to give easy access to all the attractions without being in too rowdy an area at night. Also very convenient for airport and tourist buses which stop within a hundred yards of the hotel. The room itself was large and well equipped - the only small complaints being that it was set up for one person rather than two, eg only robes, towels, toiletries, etc. Also, whilst the bathroom was large and well fitted out, the shower door did not close properly and the shower itself was not up to the standard of the rest of the room.These were only small issues and did not detract from our enjoyment of the hotel. Would definitely recommend to others wanting a weekend in Dublin.

This hotel is a wonderful character hotel with high tea afternoons and excellent lounge areas. The room was comfortable and the location A+, just step out the door where everything including the Airport bus is on the doorstep. I personally highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent Hotel. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Rooms quite basic but very clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend to others and would definitely stay in again.

This is a Very Nice Hotel, nice walking in front and down the streets. Very safe and amusing. Walk to Temple Bar district, and main shopping close by. Great Concierge. Very helpful.Nice Irish Pub, Madigans, just two doors down so you can enjoy a night cap before settling in at decent rates.

Disappointing standard twin accommodation.The website gave a very luxurious image of the hotel with the grand entrance and bar area on the ground floor. I had booked a standard twin room and was looking forward to staying in a room that reflected the image of the hotel and high quality. I was extremely disappointed. I paid £169.00 (Special offer prices) for Friday - Sat night accommodation and the room was certainly no better than anything a travel lodge hotel could provide. The view from the room was very poor of further roof tops and walls of the building. The locals opinion of the hotel is that it is very old and in need of some modernisation. I would have to agree! I realise that this was standard accommodation however the cost for the room was much higher than average therefore I expected the quality of the room to have been better! Thank goodness I hadn't paid the full price is all I can say :)

Good hotel for a short stay. Good location if you catch the 747 Airport bus at it (almost) drops you off out side (first stop) The only disappointment was that food service stops at 10pm,

Location rocks, right on O'Connell street, nice bars (expensive). Room was tiny, like a Motel 6. Price was absurd for the room, especially on the weekend. Very nice hotel except for the price and the room though, great staff, including the Concierges, who were great help in finding activities and found us a great golf course at a low cost!

The GreshamRoom was clean but so is a premier inn at half the price. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Location great for Temple Bar and shopping. Would stay again but only if it was a bit cheaper.

We had an overnight in The Gresham, O'Connell St. We have stayed there many times, this time we were in the Lavery Wing - Our room was excellent, very clean very quiet and nice facilities. We did not have breakfast. Check in and check out went smoothly no problems.

We thought that the food was very expensive - Continental breakfast was 18 euros per person. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel.

Great lobby and bar! Good location and excellent friendly concierge.But for the price, was surprised to see pressed wood assembled furniture in rooms. Also, they gave me a room at the front and street noise kept me awake. Fitness room was a small storage room with 4 machines, so if you are not claustrophic and don't mind looking at 4 white walls, you'll be fine.Problems involved front desk night manager refused to let me exchange currency to catch a late night cab 8 hours before I checked in. The noise from the street. Poor fitness room. And the fire alarm was very sensitive , lol, it alarmed from using the installed hair dryer in the room.

Quality of Room - WindowsThe reason for scoring a 4 for the quality of the room is due to the amount of noise you hear from the streets outside. Had a front of hotel room, whilst lovely when you are awake you can struggle to get asleep in the evening.

4 of us stayed at the Gresham hotel from the 3-5th of July 09 to celebrate my 25th birthday.We had a fantastic stay,and staff were very kind and helpfull.Only 2 faults,firstly the room was way too hot,I dont think the air con worked,we had windows open,but I'm afraid it didn't help,so there we had a bit of trouble sleeping.Secondly..we had a bit of trouble with the shower,it stopped working,so did the toilet and sink,but they kindly enough gave us another room to get ourselves ready.All in all,we had a very plesant stay,and no doubt we'll be returning.

We had stated in our booking that we would be checking in at 10am. However we were not allowed to our room until 3pm and by the looks of it, many otheres were in the same boat as there was quite a few at the counter at 3pm who had had to wait for their room also. Room itself was average size and clean, with good size plasma tv. Food and drink in hotel is very expensive, we didn't eat there so cannot comment on it. All in all, it's a nice hotel in great location.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious! The bathroom looked like it had just been remodeled...it was really nice with a big huge bathtub and a seperate shower. There was a nice bar in the lobby that we really enojyed. The location couldn't be bettter!!! Within walking distance of anything and everything!

week end oasisI thoroughly recommend The Gresham, it has a wonderful location being within walking distance or a quick taxi ride to the places I wanted to visit and catching the Airport bus to outside the Hotel door is a real bonus. Being able to gain access to the room at mid day started the week end off without unnecessary delay. The staff were extremely helpful, providing answers to non tourist- like questions showing they had a real knowledge of the City. I will return to the Gresham ; as soon as you enter its doors you feel its ambiance and sophistication ( I was delighted that it does not play host to stag/ hen nights... )
