This was the worst, most scariest hotel that I have ever stayed at. There was a broken down tent trailer in the middle of the parking lot with all kinds of junk stored around it. There was also a truck that was abandoned with junk under it. The pool had no water and was ready to collapse. The pictures that are on this site are probably 20 years old because the place is so run down now that it does not look like the pictures. This hotel is in a very bad, run down part of town and the WORST place I have ever stay at.

this property is in desperate need of repair. i was afraid to walk up the old wooden stairs. the room was in poor condition: bare bulbs, old worn furniture, no door on the closet. it was glaringly apparent that this was more of an apartment building for the vinyard laborers than it was a motel. i will NEVER stay here again.

It was on the river. Worn and not kept up. Pool was empty and dirty. Wouldn't stay there again. We were traveling without a car and it wasn't easily accessible. It didn't have a restaurant and the closet food was at least a mile away. We also didn't know the town of Riverhead NY is a prison town and not the best place to go if you're a tourist wanting to see a quaint Long Island town.

The staffs were courteous. Quiet, which is exactly what i need. Could give a little more amenities.

The person at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The motel lobby, rooms, grounds, pool and exterior stairways, etc. were extremely run down and neglected. Our first view of the hotel as we drove in left us gasping at what we may find. The exterior and interior areas of the motel were extremely neglected in terms of maintenance. The stairway boards to the second floor where our room was were extremely weathered and rotting. There wasn't a coffee pot, a hair-dryer or shampoo to be found. The soap bars provided were so small they almost melted away with a couple body swipes. The room wasn't vacuumed well and the bed covers were nasty. We actually put our sheets out to be changed as we were staying four nights and by night 3 they hadn't been changed. The furniture was archaic and the fixtures out of date. The weather was great so we left early morning and came back late night. The stay in bad weather in this motel would have been unbearable.

The photos and description of this hotel that is given on many websites is misleading. Rundown and in need of cleaning and repair. The worst hotel experience of my life.

Everything. It was filthy, run down, the bathroom door was broken and hadn't been cleaned since 1960, just awful and a waste of money. I've stayed in Motel 6's that were 10 times nicer.

Our first room was filthy.The carpet was stained,cobwebs around the windows,beds and furniture were old and in poor condition.The bathroom was dirty and old.The staff moved us to another room which was at least clean.The bathroom was also updated.The hotel is old and in generally poor condition.
