The rooms have been recently renovated so they are clean.Very small rooms but nice. The outside on the other hand looks like the bates motel. Our card key wouldnt work and we had to keep going back to get a new one. They wouldnt give me a receipt for my purchase and half of the hotel is still under renovation including the kitchen so no breakfast as advertised. The staff came across as unprofessional I will not be staying here again.

Room was not good at all, exterior corrired hotel, It was Called The Manchester Inn and Suites they changed the name to exscape their old problems. Dirty in the Middle of Town. Pool was Very Dirty. Staff not friendly.

From the outside, the Greeneafe Inn looks like a well cared for, older, California-style motel. The room itself was a different matter. To begin with, we couldn't get in. The key card did not work. One of the housekeeping staff tried her marster key card and it didn't work, either. I returned to the desk, and I was given a manual key to use until the electronic lock was fixed. It went downhill from there: 1. The refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot were not working. I traced the problem to a disconnected extension strip. The wall socket was high on the wall behind the TV set and not easy to reach. All three items were connected into a combination of extension cords and power strips that looked like an electricians nightmare. 2. There was a gap of about 3/4-inch under the door. No weather stripping. Fortunately, the weather was fairly mild. 3. The Greenleafe advertises free wi-fi and ethernet internet connections. The wi-fi signal was so weak in the room that it was useless. The ethernet connection did not work at all. I informed the desk about the ethernet problem, and it was finally resolved (bad router) the following day. The ethernet jack, believe it or not, was behind the headboard of one of the two beds, not at the desk where you'd expect it to be. 4. Meanwhile, back at the door key problem, the electronic lock was fixed fairly quickly. We discovered that when the front desk double-booked the room. While we were relaxing on the first evening, a young lady walked into the room and backed out rather quickly with a surprised look on her face. The desk clerk did call a few minutes later to apologize. Needless to say, we won't be going back soon.
