Greenacres Motel Van Park Benaraby

Benaraby, a small township on the Bruce Highway is the hub of an area that shouldn't be missed. Situated on the picturesque Boyne River many attractions are close at hand and will entice the traveller to pause to experience what it has to offer.
Only 500 metres north of Benaraby is the lovely Greenacres Motel Van Park, a small friendly place catering for all, with air conditioned units, on-site air conditioned vans, powered sites and shady campsites. Greenacres has a covered swimming pool, children's playground and a camp kitchen that everyone is encouraged to use.
Afternoons are the time to be there for the daily bird feeding which attracts spectacular multi coloured birdlife native to the area.
If you fish, and don't most of us? A diversity of spots awaits you, just wak upstream from the bridge and get amongst the flathead, bream, grunter and mangrove jack as well as the barramundi noted in the area.
For the beach fisherman, Turkey Beach, Boyne Island and Tannum Sands are close enough to plan your menu for the night.
The real jewel however, is Lake Awoonga an 8 minute drive from Greenacres. Barramundi fishing is all year round and as thousands of fingerlings are released into the lake every year for the past 10 years you are assured of a good days fishing. We have a childrens playground to keep the littlies busy whilst you are relaxing. Extra guests welcome for a small fee.

We are located at the Northern End of Benaraby. Close to Gladstone on the Central Coast of Queensland.

We have room to park your car, boat or semi trailer if you wish.

Fishing at Lake Awoonga, in the Boyne River or on the Beach at Tannum Sands. You can catch Barramundi, Bream, Whiting just to name a few.
