What a great family get away! Each and every staff person we encountered was great; each one met our expectations and the vast majority of them far exceeded our expectations! We would go again without hesitation!

At first glance this hotel looked like it would be a wonderful place to stay. After I made it to my room and got settled in I went downstairs to explore. That's when it became apparent this vacation was going to be a disaster. The hotel has way too many rooms to allow for all of the guests to make use of it's attractions like the waterpark and arcade and there are children of all ages running rampant for the MagiQuest game which takes place on the first five floors of the hotel. This game runs all day long so there is no peace and quiet if you're travelling from one floor to the next as the elevators and staircase are right in the middle of the game area (if the elevators are even working, they were out of service for 90% of our stay). My family and I got one of their special offers that has been featured on television (stay three nights for the price of two) but we did not get the room we were promised (one of the suites), we just got a regular room on the third floor. Also we were told that the gr8_space would be included in the price of our stay but when I tried to enter I was told I had to pay another 10. Also, unlike other hotels where you can get basic necessities for free, I was told I had to go to the gift shop to buy a comb and toothpaste. If you're thinking about eating, you'd better load up in your car and head to Centralia where you can actually eat without going bankrupt. The restraunts inside the lodge are extremely overpriced. I would NEVER recommend/stay at this hotel again. Save your money for someplace worth it!

Lots of family fun at the Great Wolf Lodge. The slides were great and all the activities too. I did think with all the staff working there it could have been a bit cleaner in some areas. The water drains had lots of hair stuck in them and on the floor itself in the pool and slide area also in the public bathrooms. The hall ways had lots of crud too in the hotel itself. I do know there is tons of people traffic to keep up with. But overall I would still recomend the fun stay to many people. The staff was great, and friendly.

Room was not ready on time. At 4:20 we were given a key but housekeeping had just arrived to clean the room and we waited in the hall 15 minutes in our wet swimsuits, 3 adults and three children freezing. Overpriced room with no TV. Unsupervised children running thru the halls all night. Every single amenity was pay as you go. I must say the buffet food was great, but once again overpriced. Could have stayed in Vegas or at the beach in a superior room for half the price. Beds were terrible and lumpy. We will not be returning.

We arrived at the lodge a little earily, we knew that our room wouldn't be availible until 4 pm, but that we could start using the park at 1 pm of the check-in day. To our suprise our, they put us in our room at 12:30. We played in the water park that day from 1pm -10 pm. We had breakfast & Dinner at the Buffet on the main floor. It was a little expensive at about 18.00 per adult, they had nice varity and the wait staff was great. Be prepared to see kids running everywhere with little wands at they play the Magiquest game. My kids had a great time playing, and can't wait to get back and play some more. There is also and Arcade & Teen club that looked really cool. The drawbacks were that I can't see staying here for more then a couple days as the water park gets old after about 2 days. Not much to do close by, unless you want to drive to Seattle. The elevators are very slow, we used the stairs alot. Overall it was a good time and we will be back.

our room wasn't cleaned very well, dirty towels left behind the bathroom door and food wrappers on the counter. It was a busy weekend but the room should still be clean for $300 a night.

I stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge under duress because I had to attend an event hosted there. The room was ridiculously overpriced at *. The primary goal of the staff seems to be to move people into and out of their rooms as quickly as possible. The front desk clerk was impatient to the point of rudeness and the cleaning staff began pounding on the door at 10:55 the next day. The room itself was nothing special and the walls were smeary and dirty looking. The coffee machine was broken, there were only 4 bath towels in a room meant to sleep six, and the beds were poorly made up and uncomfortable. The waterslide is massive but the smell of chlorine is overwhelming. The security is lax: side doors are left unlocked and there is no wristband check at the entrance to the waterslide, although there is a sign posted saying wristbands are required. All activities besides the waterslide cost more, and are very pricey. On the positive side, the lifeguards seem to do a great job, and there are plenty of them. That's really the only good thing I have to say about the place. The location of the hotel is right off the interstate, across from a trailer park and down the road from an industrial park. There's nothing to do nearby which seems to be by design as you are forced to stay on site and spend more money. Unless you really, really love waterparks or spending a lot of money on overpriced souvenirs and arcade games, I'd stay away.

We took our two girls 10 and 11 and two of their friends for a short getaway from the summer heat in Portland. Located between Seattle and Portland the Greatwolf Lodge is a nice short getaway for families. We stayed in the Grizzly Bear Suite with a balcony and our room price was about 469 per night, but the room was spacious, clean, and nicely laid out. The four girls shared a large separate bedroom that had two queen sized beds and their own TV. The room my husband and I stayed in was another large separate room that had a separate bathroom, TV, and whirpool tub. The sitting area was large and comfortable, and had a gas fireplace and 42" plasma TV. We did have another one of our friends join us with his son, and they slept comfortably on the pull-out sofa. Even with 8 of us in the room, we neve once felt cramped or crowded in the suite, and having 2 bathrooms was a definited bonus. The only complaint I have is that there are kids EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Most of them were running out of control, and it was at times unfortunate that their parents didn't monitor their behaviour more closely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You do have to be careful using the stairways. There is a interactive treasure hunt game that the kids use these wands to play, and a lot of things that they have to seek out our in the stairwells so you HAVE to be careful either opening or closing the doors because there WILL be kids on either side. I did see a few kids get hurt by their over eager peers who just literally pushed the doors open without thinking that their were people on the otherside. definitely be careful and keep your kids safe!

Wonderful place, great for families with kids age 3-10. Very clean and quiet rooms. Nice facility and lots of fun activities. Only issue is that there are only two restaurants - buffet and bar/grill. Not enough to accomodate the occupants. Need more restaurants. Rates are also high for 10 months out of the year and on weekends. But definitely a place I would return to, assuming I can get a rate deal.
