My 14 y.o. daughter and I spent 5 nights during Spring Break 2009. We had a great time. Room was confortable w/exception of temperature. We had room heat turned off all week and routinely cracked the balcony door to cool room. Location was closest we've ever stayed to ski slopes. Convenient to shuttle bus, town activities. She loved the hot tubs with snow fall and freezing hair. She enjoyed room service while I fought altitude sickness. Definitely will come back with rest of the family. Parking garage was great--didn't have to clean snow off of car. SUGGESTION TO HOTEL: Would love to have microwave oven in rooms. On our return trip to Dayton, OH, we stayed at a new hotel in Indianapolis that had both fridge and microwave oven. Front desk had a variety of micro snacks/entrees for purchase--very convenient.

We enjoyed our stay at Winter Park CO. However, we were there June 2 - 4 th , this was a very quiet time because it is a Winter lodge... The Mountains Are Beautiful to see, anywhere you are in that area or at anytime. We would like to have our restaurant available it was closed. THE overall rating was Great.

Great location, public areas a bit worn, room comfortable, but could be updated a bit.

The location of the lodge is great for skiing. Walk across the street and a parking lot and you are on the slope. Free ski/snoboard storage is on the ground level so there is no need to haul your skis up to your room. Since the lodge is built on a slope the upper floors (8 to 10) require two elevator rides, a bit of a walk but no big deal. There is a bus just out front that takes you into town as well as the lodge having a courtesy shuttle. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The rooms are hotel style but large enough to spread out your equipment when getting ready for a day on the slopes. I would recommend this place to stay for skiing/snowboarding.

We could not beleive the closeness to the Peak 9 Lifts and the fact they were installing 32" Flat Plasma Screen TV's, the heating underground parking and the friendly staff. The ONLY bad thing is the location of the elevators, it is a long walk to the elevator and if you are on floor 7-10 then another long walk to the connecting elevator. But overall AWESOME!!!JJO

Upon arrival they had upgrade our room from a regular hotel room to a suite, at no extra charge. However the ski season was over by this time of course. Still the room was very nice and it had a beautiful view of the town and its surroundings. The room very clean, but the hair dryer in the bathroom was not working. My wife called to the front desk and the desk clerk was rude and told her to wait a few minutes and retry it. She didn't listen to my wife when she told her that it wasn't working at all. After a second phone call, they sent a maintainence person to change it out which took a full 2 minutes. The room service staff was very nice and polite. The food was very good, however they didn't pick up our tray from outside the door for 2 whole days. This was a little disturbing. The town guide book in the room was very helpful and the lacation of the resort to downtown was with in walking distance or you could take the shuttle. Overall for a weekend getaway this was a nice place to stay and I would reccommend it.

Secure parking. Desk clerk. No A/C Great for off-season visit to Breckenridge but beware of no A/C and windows that don't open all the way.

this is our second stay --- convenient to ski slopes -- rooms clean which is of major importance -- only complaint was had to take elevator to up several floors, get off and walk a maze to another elevator to go to upper floors

I don?t know how anyone can say that this is a nice Hotel!!!??? We will never stay there again!!!! Just to list a few items: very small Bathrooms, VERY confusing Hotel/Room Layout, very poor Management, and outdated rooms/Hotel! Huge signs all over Hotel that no Skies are allowed in Rooms, but saw almost the majority taking Skies into their rooms. When we picked up our skies, the person in front of us were given skies without any ticket, it could have been anybody?s skies!!! We?ve tried the Hotels Breakfast on Thanksgiving Day. Were told that it is a Buffet, the ?cold? Buffet was quoted to us at 7.95 and if we wanted a ?warm? Buffet, that would include the Meat Choices (no price was quoted). Well, those ?warm? dishes turned-out to be completely cold, half the Buffet was already empty, we both barley ate anything; to top it off we were charged 15.00 per person!! Probably the most expensive and worst Breakfast we ever had!!!! We had booked 4 nights there over Thanksgiving, but received after 3 days a phone call from our Dog Kennel that our Dog fell ill. After getting the run-around on the phone between online travel website and the Hotels Reservation Desk regarding trying to get some kind of a discount for the last night there, we decided to talk directly to the Manager. We were promised a 50% discount. A few days later after not having received a discount, we called the Hotel and were just told that that Manager did not have the authority to authorize any discount and there is nothing he could do for us!!! Basically, they had our money and could not care less!! The only good thing we have to say about this Hotel is that it is close to the slopes, but at this point, we would of rather walked a bit!! Definitely NOT worth the money!!

They were very nice and ended up giving us a room with a semi view of the mountains. Very helpful! Nothing. This was a very nice, warm hotel. There is a fireplace in the lobby that welcomes you and the rooms were amazing.

Most of the hotel staff was friendly and helpfull. We had booked ( and paid for )an upgraded room on line, we where given a std room ( we did not know ) we asked about it and staff was none commital weither our initial room was an upgrade, after 2 nights we asked to change rooms, they did, and next room was up to expectation. Not cool. rm

Prime location right across from the Ski Lift and very close to downtown shops & restaurants. Nice, comfortable room with large bathroom. Very friendly, helpful staff & concierge."

This was our first time in Breckenridge so we had no idea of the layout, and we were so pleased to find we could walk outside the hotel straight to the slopes! The service was great - especially appreciated the personal free shuttle service that picked us up within minutes of calling after a night out on the town. I would certainly recommend this hotel to others and would go back there myself!

It was a maze to get to our room on the 10th floor. I recommend staying on the 7th floor or below if possible.

The layout of the hotel is extremely confusing. To get to our room, we had to walk down a hallway to reach the elevator (which was very slow), take it to the 7th floor, then walk all the way across the hotel down another long zig-zagged hallway to another elevator (also very slow) up to the 9th floor. It was the only way to get to our room. It might not be a big deal to some, but when you have a lot of ski gear, it can be annoying. It was also frustrating since the pool and hot tub were all the way on the other side of the hotel. We also had to change our room mid-stay. Our first room was apparently located next to the laundry / garbage chutes. So every morning starting at 5am, we were woken up by loud banging sounds associated with the housekeeping activity. The light switches did not always work, and the room was always very hot, even with the heat off (and there is no A/C to cool the room down). The location of the lodge was decent (near Peak 9), but there is still a 5-minute uphill walk to the chairlift, so it is definitely not "ski-in / ski-out." The Beaver Run Resort had a better location closer to the lift. The restaurant / bar was convienient for the occasional apres-ski drink or snack, but be prepared to pay $3.29 if you want to buy a small cup of coffee. The staff was friendly and helpful, but overall I'm not sure I would choose to stay here again.

Great experience with the hotel. Friendly staff helped arrange shuttles between Breckenridge and Vail, picking up/dropping off at the hotel. Also stored bags for free. If you're in the North tower you will have a lot of walking/stairs/elevators to get there, but very clean and quiet rooms. I took advantage of the $99/night rate, booking well in advance, and we had great snow Presidents' Day Weekend (with no lines at Breckenridge). I've stayed here a number of times and will continue to do so. Very close to the Beaver Run lifts and walking distance to town/restaurants/grocery.
