We arrived around 6pm to check into the hotel. The clerk at the desk was new, and kind of slow, and in the time it took him to find our reservation, another clerk had sold our room out from under us. We were upgraded to a suite, for our 2 nights, and when we asked for another night, they gave us the suite for the same price as the original booking.

Convenient for entry into Yellowstone & provided much needed breakfast. The mattresses were very uncomfortable, the pillows were awful, and the bathroom needed a better cleaning for mold. The hotel is at a convenient location just outside the West Yellowstone entrance. Guests tend to rise early to go into the park and they to bed early. The breakfast was decent, and the waffle maker was a success. However, the hot tub wasn't working and looked like the water was contaminated. The rooms are a good size, but the mattresses and pillows are awful.

Front Desk was friendly but not overly informative. Pool was green. 1 bedroom executive suite was OK in cleaniness, spartan. Old TV with 10 channels. Couldn't get anything local or even in Bozeman, MT or other nearby cities. Continental breakfast was dull and tasteless, plan on going out. Free wireless internet is nice, room is quiet. Towells remind me of a YMCA. Bed is horrible ---- we're calling it the TACO BED, folds you up into the middle. Hot Tub is hot but lacks jet power. Might as well have been a bath tub. Won't stay here again and wouldn't recommend it unless they update and upgrade the rooms. Replace the beds, bedding & TV!

Location and access to Yellowstone National Park. This hotel is in need of some repair both exteriorly and interiorly. The beds were hard and uncomfortable, the TV stations varied in volume from one channel to the next, the carpets were stained, and the continental breakfast was poor and unappealing (only carbohydrates and juice) were offered from 6 to 9. For the price, I was disappointed. The only standard out quality relates to the great access to Yellowstone National Park, and parking and access from the hotel to vehicles.

One of the reasons we chose this Hotel is because it was rated as three diamonds. What a joke! The price we paid for the room was excessive by any standard. First impression at check-in can tell the whole story. This hotel is not clean. Soiled, stained, and wrinkled carpet greets you in the lobby, we had to wait to check-in with a reservation, since the only clerk was on the phone taking other reservations. Personnel were dressed as if attending a rock concert. Our room was not much better as it also had soiled carpet with wrinkles and was ripped and worn through to the backing. Had a water leak from the floor above that was draining into our bathroom through the bathroom heat lamp fixture onto the toilet. When brought to the attention of the front desk, we were basically given lip service as a solution. Seems to be mass confusion at the front desk. Nobody seems to know how to handle problems. The morning breakfast area was filthy and the trashcan in the breakfast area was overflowing with garbage. Decided to pass on the so-called ?deluxe? breakfast. Staff appears to need some hotel training to include the alleged management.

This hotel has an excellent and inviting atmosphere. The breakfast area could be reorganized to make it less crowded. The staff was very friendly, the room was better than I'd hoped, and they had all the amenities I would expect of such a fine establishment. Not only will I recommend the Gray Wolf to friends, but I will be going back again.

The hotel was not clean and very noisy. I don't mind paying * for a room, but expect better accommodations.

Underground parking is great. It gets your car out of the sun or snow. They only had one hot selection for breakfast, waffles. A breakfast meat or eggs would add to the breakfast. The rooms, lobby, and pool area were clean and inviting. When we had a problem with the room it was corrected by the male maid in minutes. The TV selection was very limited, only 8 channels came in at all, but we weren't in the room very long each day. The location was handy as the bear & wolf enclosure and the IMAX Theater were right across the street.

Terrible, I would never stay here again. Rooms are filthy, carpet is worn and torn, large hole in the shower wall, I felt sorry for the people below us, they had to have a leak in their room! Loads of dirt and food and fingernails on the sides of the bedstand, around the beds and in all the corners. Large tufts of dog hair on the floor in the bathroom. Breakfast food stale and room is crowded and poorly set up. Pool was filthy, kids would not even swim in it and they have very low standards! Skip this place, it ruined our stay at yellowstone!

Motel was clean, staff friendly and helpful, indoor park nice to have during snow storm. Gray Wolf Inn was a nice place to stay in W.Yellowstone. Was real close to Grizzly Discovery center, IMax Theater and entrance to Yellowstone. Staff was friendly and helpful. Has indoor parking to get your vehicle out of the snow.

Although our room was fairly clean, the bathtub had mold in the corners. Carpet in public areas (stairways, hallways)was really dirty and torn. Quiet location-kids loved the grizzley and wolf exhibit across the road

The friendly and helpful staff. This modern hotel is situated in the perfect place. Walking distance to the Grizzly Discovery Center and the IMAX Theater. A wonderful and helpful staff that make you feel at home.
