I had a pretty good idea what the hotel was going to be like based on pictures and reviews. None of them do it justice. I was simply blown away about how amazing this place is to stay. From the bed to the shower, all of it is top notch. The location was perfect for my trip, and I will only stay at the Graves 601 when I am in Minneapolis.

Service. Was not expecting to pay for parking. Loved the room but was very small. Service was excellent. Did not expect to pay for parking.

I feel like I'm in wonderland when I stay at this hotel. Something about it is magic. I love to travel and maybe I feel this way because it's so above anything Minneapolis has to offer. Room is always perfect and clean. You can tell now it's not "brand New" anymore. But the bed is the most comfortable you'll ever sleep in. Staff are awesome. Something was goofy with our TV, we called, someone came up within 5 minutes and after reboot it worked perfect. Room service and food were perfect!! Fast. The only thing I'd change is it took 30 minutes to get our car from valet. The hotel was sold out - but they should've staffed for valet.

On paper, this hotel sounds great: located in Block E, lots of art, huge TV in all the rooms, very cutting edge. Unfortunately when you view it in person, the experience resembles a grave! It is very dark in the main lobby and the reservations desk. Even the bar/lounge had all the windows covered. Staff only speak if spoken to first and even on a busy Fourth of July weekend, the place was silent as a tomb! The room was clean but had a real sterile feel to it. To sum up, if you like a welcoming, exciting, and fun hotel, stay away from the Graves!

Loved that the Target Center and soo many other amenities were close by. The hotel was very contemporary with lots of added touchs to make it feel comfortable. 24 hour room service is excellent!

The decor was outstanding and the staff was first-rate. Difficult to find from the road. Without a doubt, this was the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at, and am unlikely to stay anywhere else in Minneapolis. The service was tremendous!

I stayed overnight before a business meeting. The room was paid for by the company with which I was meeting. I turned down an additional night in the hotel, because the staff is so incredibly rude!!. After entering from the street, there was no registration desk. I had to find the concierge to find out how to even get into the hotel - up the elevator to the 4th floor (no sign, or friendly instruction). When I mentioned to the front desk that it is unwelcoming to have no sign or help finding the front desk, she looked at me like I was stupid. The room was very nicely furnished, but a little strange. The ventillation system was very noisy. Also, the bathroom has a television, but no bathtub! The final straw was lunch at the end of my meeting. A blizzard had started about two hours before my meeting was over, and our hostess offered to send us with "to go" lunch. When I asked the hotel food services assistant for a "to go" box, she told me "we don't do that." Indeed, the hotel won't provide this service, even before a severe winter storm. If you want to be treated very badly, come to the Graves 601 Hotel. You will not be disappointed. If you want to be welcomed, and treated like a guest, go somewhere else!

Ncie rooms, comfortable beds, lighting in public areas a little dark. Great location for Downtown Mpls.

The beds were so comfortable! The two beds in our room were small and theAC never got down to 65 all night. Very fun, trendy, sophisticated atmosphere where all our traveling needs were met. Everyone was very accommodating.

Hotel was sooo easy to get to from the airport (light rail drops you off 1 block away). 4th floor Check in is easy and simple using Travelagent.. it's all pre paid. Be sure to notice the moving sculpture behind the front desk of antlers which look like undulating snakes. (it's neat not creepy). The decor of the lobby and lounge is very dark and very cleanly modern with back lighting, and zebra wood paneling. The hotel rooms are bright and inviting in blond wood, and light green accents. Beautiful bed linens and a nifty bathroom with an extra large shower. Loved the Hermes soap! Breakfast was pricy but innovative. Be sure to have the real fresh squeezed orange juice. yum or the oat meal Brule' Room service was typical in price but a large portion and wonderful in terms of innovative cuisine. I would stay there again when ever I was in town.

A group of friends went for a night on the town and we could not have found a better location. We were right in the middle of everything and the concierge was helpful in pointing out places to go, providing directions and a map. The staff were helpful and the hotel was beautiful, quiet and felt private.

Beautiful hotel, perfect location. Inconsistent service marred dining experience. Modern hotel with great amenities located in perfect downtown spot. Cosmos restaurant has great food, somewhat inconsistent service. Go instead to Bradstreet lounge on first floor if you didn't have a fabulous time there, you're the one to blame. Some of the best desserts and mixed drinks ever. I wished I had room to sample their dining menu as well! Gracious, attentive hotel staff made the Graves 601 a pleasure. I will be back.

I have stayed at the graves hotel 4 times and every time they have tried to over charge me! Do not stay there without watching your bill when its check out time. All 4 times they tried charging me when I had all ready paid. Last year they tried charging me for room service which I never recieved. That would have been O.K., but they treated me like a room service thief saying they would have a investigation. When they found out the truth there were no apology. This year they are tring to chagre me 250 dollars for ash in the trash can. I never saw any ash or pictures that they said they had. The managers are putting up such a fight about ash that doesn't exist or was in there when I checked in. Hold your wallet close if you dare stay there.

I loved this hotel... great location, sleek & elegant rooms, helpful staff. Gym is smallish, but the staff was able to give me access to the Lifetime Fitness Club across the street at the Target Center. I travel to Mpls frequently and this will be my go to hotel in the future!

Great location. Parking cost $28 for one night, street parking not always available. I stayed at the Graves when it first opened and it was very nice, however I wasn't as impressed with my most recent visit. The furnishings in my room were old, worn and stained. The room felt a bit dirty.

This coming March will mark our third year getaway to the Graves for a Girl's Getaway Weekend. We could care less about the modern decor or the happening nightclub. We go purely for the bed and the room. The room is completely soundproof so no noise from the nightclub downstairs, the room next door, or the hallway. Complete tranquility. The bed is the most amazing experience and we can't begin to describe it. It's like sleeping on a cloud. The minute we walk into the room, we jump on the beds and enjoy the luxury. It brings a smile to our face. The TV's are amazing. The colors and lighting in the rooms are very calming and serene. All in all, it is the best place to recoup after a day of shopping and exploring the city.

I was staying at the Graves for Minneapolis Pride. I always love staying there as its got a great location, atmosphere and the staff are incredibly kind and friendly. Sadly I think that the hotel seems to be starting to go down hill. The remote for the TV in the bathroom was pretty beaten up, there was trim missing from the end table and the elevator broken for most of my stay.

Nice check in. Great bar and hotel rooms. Highly recommended. Downtown Minneapolis is quite happening...maybe a bit louder and more congested than I would have imagined.

Great decor, great amenities, great location, and extremely clean. Weaving in and out of hotels to get out of the place, but fine once you figure it out! Chic hotel, you feel like a star when you stay here! Great for girls getaway as there is a spa connected to the hotel with great packages for groups. The rooms are fantastic, the bedding is luxurious, flat screen in the bathroom, roomy walk-in shower, and very clean rooms with a modern, artistic feel.
