Koto II a Japanese sushi and noodle bar providing the freshest Japanese food, also provides access to the hotel's private piazza for dining al fresco.

anniversary stay!The grange hotel was easy to get to with many places to visit nearby. The only time i needed servbice was when i discovered an ironong board with no iron! And the need of more milk! I didnt eat any food as it was too expsensive as was the drinks. The bed was extremely comfortable, i could of slept for hours! I would use this hotel again but for a 2 night stay instead of one as there were many more things we could of done.

Great location, right next to the Tower Hill tube station with London's Tower and sightseeing buses stops across the street. Very helpful service desk & concierge staff and room with an impressive view of the Tower. Rooms and bathrooms are large for European standard; clean and nicely equipped with very comfortable beds. The area around (City & financial district) is very quiet on weekends with limited choices for dinning. The breakfast buffet was not in line with 5 star hotel rating with very long wait for a coffee or milk & refills; continental buffet had a variety choices but pastry was mediocre at best with soggy croissants. This may be acceptable for a room rate included buffet but it is totally outrages considering that the hotel is charging 21 British pounds for it. You can have a better breakfast for ¼ of the cost in any of the close by coffee places. Overall it is a quality hotel in good location but you should skip the breakfast buffet.

Lovely BedsThe room was lush, the beds and the pillows are the best I've ever slept in, but the TV came on twice in the night and the maid let herself into our room at 9am the next morning, while we were still asleep ! the check in staff where not freindly or helpful, so not impressed as 5* goes !!

Excellent attention to detail and the hotel staff were very helpful. Superior Suite size was excellent for London and the rooms are well furnished and well decorated.

Recommended.Very nice hotel in central position and close to tube network, so easy to travel around. Clean and comfortable with lovely pool, sauna, gym etc.

the hotel is not in the best location (although the tube is very close) it takes about 30 minutes on the tube to get to anywhere central. For a 5 star hotel it lacks certain features in the room such as wi fi, the tv channels are poor and the room cleaning is at irregular times (they also disregard their own instruction to place towels on the rail if you don't want them replaced - and replace them anyway!) the bathroom, although clean had poorly fitted tiles and the grouting was discoloured, something I would not expect of a hotel room at this level. All in all acceptable but not outstanding.

The view from the executive room's balcony was superb, with the gherkin on one side and the Tower of London on the other. Also, we were upgraded to the exec room upon check in.

BEAUTIFUL ROOM. CENTRAL LOCATION. GOOD VALUEWe stayed at the Grange on Saturday 13th June 2009 for a night out in London and were very pleased with the hotel. Although breakfast was not included, we were upgraded on arrival to a lovely suite which was clean and comfortable. The pool facilities (with kids in one lane only!) was also a nice bonus. This is not a 5 star hotel if you are looking for something MEGA but is is a really good 4 star - priced appropriately.

Have stayed at the Grange at Holborn and this was just as good. Didn't have breakfast but had room service. Quite expensive at £13 for a club sandwich & tray charge.

Break at the City GrangeHad a lovely stay at the Grange City, although was disappointed that the room was stated as a Superior room with a Queen sized bed and it was only a double on arrival. Also, we were on the 2nd floor and didn't have a very nice view, only of a train going past. I did liaise directly with the hotel prior to arrival and stated that the stay was a gift and was told that a message would be left to give us a nice room. So a bit disappointed with that. The staff were friendly and the room was very clean. Directions around the hotel could have been a bit clearer, we got lost several times walking around! Would definately go back though as all in all a lovely hotel.

Good and CentralI stayed overnight, didn't eat at the hotel at all, room was clean although shower needed re-grouting. Very close to Towerhill Tube.

Really enjoyed the stay, great room, comfy bed, great shower/bathroom. Location is only a minutes walk from the tube station. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Great hotel, nice room, tiny bathroomOnly in London would this be considered a 5* hotel. The location was great and staff were excellent. The bed was really comfortable and the room, whilst not all that big, was perfectly clean. I'm sure the swimming pool etc. was lovely but we were just staying for the night. The walls of the room were thin enough that you could clearly hear other guests and cleaners in the corridors. The bathroom was very cramped. I'd expect that a superior double room would have a bath big enough for two.. but this one really wasn't big enough for one. The tiny bath was squeezed into the room and was not long enough to completely lie down in (i'm 5' 9\") or, I would have thought, wide enough to accommodate the average American. It was perfectly adequate for having a quick wash but when i'm staying in 5* luxury I'd like to try and relax.Considering this was a 'superior double' i wouldn't like to see the bathroom of the 'inferior double'..

Location Location LocationHaving stayed at the Grange Holburn before I knew roughly what to expect and the Grange City delivered. The hotel is a hop skip and a jump from Tower Hill Tube so getting around is no problem. Also ideally placed for the Tower Hill pier which if you are going to the O2 the Thames Clipper is the best way to get there as it drops you right outside the O2. Once again I did not have time to use the leisure facilities but I did have a peek and all looked as promised. The staff are extremely helpful and well versed in all things \"London\". Lots of local Pubs and food haunts within walking distance as well. The room, Standard double, was cleaned throughout our 2 night stay and continually well stocked on Tea, Coffee, Towels and the media facilities such as TV and internet are top line with the bed being far too comfortable and inviting resulting in a long lay in! Only downsides are inconsiderate customers slamming room doors as they depart (but this could happen anywhere) and the fact that if you have an uneven numbered room you miss out on the views of Tower Bridge and the Tower of London afforded to those rooms of an even persuasion. Top Tip ask for an even numbered room 8th floor is good. I will use this hotel again and with the amount of hotels in offer in London that is praise enough. A customer loyalty package would not go amiss though !

Superb!I have stayed in some lovely hotels but this was the best so far! The staff could not have been more helpful, the hotel itself was stunning! The food was delicious and its location made for a fantastic weekend away! I would highly recommend this hotel!
