I have stayed at this hotel a few times over the last couple years. It is an older hotel and decided to give it a shot with the recent "upgrades" that were made. First off, yes the COMMON areas have been renovated, the ROOMS have NOT. They DO have new beds, which are more comfortable, but alas, virtually NO AIR CONDITIONING. They claim they do, but it seems it is NEVER working well. The NORTH tower has showers where the heat fluctuates, beware you may get burned! There seems to be many new faces at the front desk lately, and it is NOT the service I DID like about them before. Though at 99.00, the rate is pretty darn good. But alas, it is now useless to put in a complaint to a manager (at least the one i dealt with), as i was basically called a liar, and treated like scum. on the plus side of things, the pool, hot tub and exercise room are now fantastic! for people on a budget, i would recommend this hotel. For people who expect top of line services, find another place to stay...

The entire hotel needs to be upgraded! The rooms are dark and gloomy. The carpets look and feel like they can from the 80's. The restaurant is mediocre at best! We found the staff not very helpful. This was not a good stop. We wished we had gone down the road a little farther ....

Had a jacuzzi room that was across the elevator which made loud squeaking noises all night. Didn't get much sleep. Only stayed 2 nights instead of the 3 we had planned. Pool and exercise room were poorly kept. I don't think anyone uses it. Didn't dare use the jacuzzi in our room because we couldn't figure out the dial which only had a scratch mark to indicate where to turn the dial to. Old building.

Initial impression poor - an 80s purple exterior. Very smoky lobby. Some rooms appeared to have been recently renovated - however, showers were awful (spewing burning & freezing water in same shower), beds were hard, restaurant left something to be desired, and most of front desk staff gave off an unapproachable attitude. Was reasonably cheap, but I think I'll fork out a little more for a nicer hotel next time
