Located downtown, right at the city centre, the Grande Hotel do Porto offers its guests a direct access to Porto's culture centre. Most of Porto's main attractions are at walking distance. The hotel is just a few steps away from the Bolhao metro station, 5 minutes walk from the S. Bento railway station and about 17km from the Francisco Sa Carneiro airport. This is a carefully renovated relic of a hotel that is set on an all-pedestrian street with the densest collection of shops in central Porto.

Restaurant D. Pedro II: Among the most illustrious guests of all time were D. Pedro II and Teresa Cristina, the former emperors of Brazil, who found refuge here during the fall of the Monarchy in that country. In his honour, the hotel named its restaurant the D. Pedro II Restaurant. A regal hall that evokes the nobility and the glamour of yore, where client can enjoy the most divine recipes taken from traditional Portuguese and international cuisine. The breakfast is also served here daily.

Bar Windsor Bar: The Windsor Bar is a tribute to the Prince of Wales, later King Edward VIII, who stayed at the hotel. The Windsor Bar is a space with classic decor, an elegant atmosphere and a certain dandy style that evokes the personality of the British royals. It is a space that invites good company, good conversation and a night that client will not want to end.
