This hotel is very dated. They have two breakfast rooms - the cheap one is basic and poorly serviced. The hotel is two star.

Grand Pre - a convenient business baseThis is a hotel that is good for: UN business stays and works well as a business base without being cut off from the city : free airport pick up and delivery - but book early for departure; reasonable walking distance to UN buildings, it could be the only exercise you get in a busy week! but not too far from the lake; and now they supply you with a free Geneva transport pass - bonus; Watch out for: changed bus routes, the hotel navette stops at 9pm and due to the new tramway in the adjacent street the No 10 to the airport now takes a different route - keep a taxi fare handy for late arrivals/departures; multiple electrical appliances, there are few sockets in the rooms;Don't go especially for: the cuisine, breakfast on the 5th floor is a fuel stop, nourishing and plentiful but not exciting; evening meals, restricted to room service from local Italian (but generally arrives in good time, to order); absolute quiet, some of the walls are a bit thin; charm- the decor is not thrilling, though all clean and functional; views. Overall - for the regular visitor this can become an old friend.

comfortable hotel, just at the right place, on the good side of Geneva, easy access from airport and station. Free shuttle bus from/to airport is great saving. Staff very efficient and friendly.

idealGrand Pre suited me down to the ground The supierior twin room was ideal for me alone. Hotel was placed just outside the centre . Giving you enough time to walk off that meal by the time you get back.There was also a mini kitchen , if you wanted to stay in.

Good hotel although rather expensive, a bit out of town and a long walk to the lake. Breakfast was basic but you could upgrade to the buffet for an extra $10.00. A free shuttle to the airport was a bonus. We would stay here again.

This would be perfect 2/3 stars hotel for 80 EUR per night. I do not know who gave them 4 stars, it is like 4 stars standard in Cairo...I decided to change this hotel after first night

We were given travel passes which covered buses, tram and the small boats across the lake. Noisy neighbours kept us awake one evening. We had to rooms together and helpful staff unlocked the door between them for us.

Very dated. Cannot understand why it has a 4 star rating ???? A bit too far from the city center. Location rather dull.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. Even though this is rated as a 4 star hotel, the service and the room was not even to 2 star levels. The staff were not so friendly and the location is not great. The breakfast was a huge let down. I was disappointed to see the breakfast arranged in a conference room.
