We had to contact Housekeeping everyday for missing wash cloths or towels, the fridge doesn't get very cold. The tours are great Ricks Cafe was awesome and the zipline was a great experience. The chicken at the Jerk Hut is very tasty.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our escape from our 3 kids. The resort is absolutely huge but they met all of our needs. The resort was well kept but you could tell that it wasn't built in America but this was certainly no big deal. Our room had an iPod dock with speakers, which I thought was totally cool. All of the staff were very courteous and friendly. The Ala Carte restaurants were very good. We were only there for 4 nights so the first three nights we tried the Jamaican Creole, the Steakhouse, and the Indian restaurants. Others included Japanese, Mexican, Seafood. Can't remember the others but there are also a few buffets open for dinner. Breakfast buffet was very nice with lots of different foods to eat. On Friday night there was a beach barbecue (reservations needed) and we enjoyed a decent meal, a live reggae band and a beach bonfire. Beaches were private (no vendors). There were plenty of kayaks, sailboats, and paddle boats to go around. Towels are readily available and you simply trade out used for new whenever you want. Drinks (alcoholic or non) are readily available at multiple bars. There is also a Jamaican Jerk chicken shack on the beach open for lunch. The nightly entertainment was lacking... unless you're into booty shakin' dancing which we're not. Regular massages in the spa are 64 USD after tax (double for couples). We did it down on the beach and paid * USD after tax. It was worth the extra to us to be down next to the waves and enjoy the sound of the ocean... super-relaxing! Resort is 45 minutes from Negril or Monetgo Bay so shopping is not readily available but 30 USD/couple will get you a round trip ride.

My boyfriend and I visited Jamaica for a week and stayed at this resort. At the time, it had just opened so everything was not up and running, but WOW!!! This place is GEORGOUS!! It is a massive resort with LOTS of activities for the whole family. There are like 13 restaurants, a sports bar, night clubs, maybe 8-10 swimming pools, maybe 5 saunas, a new casino, shops, basketball court, tennis court, mini-golf, soccer field, a fitness center, a kids facility and much more! You virtually have no reason to leave the resort! All the rooms have marble tile, 2 flat screen TV's, separate shower, complimentary snacks in fridge, just EVERYTHING!! We planned to stay in the adults only bungalows, but they weren't open yest, but if you can, STAY THERE!! They have HUGE jaccuzzi's in the room and showers with open ceilings to the sky. The staff was superb and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. I didn't book through Travelocity since they weren't booking for the resort at that time, so we have many problems with the travel agency we used (Changes in Lattitude/Dynamic Leisure- HORRIBLE service) but the staff at the resort did all they could to assist us. I'm looking forward to coming back, even though the hotel's location is a bit far from Montego Bay and Negril. VERY far from Ocho Rios, but you can get a cab for reasonable rates if you go with a group.

This was the nicest hotel we have stayed at abroad, although our room was not ready at check-in. Our full suite with the ocean view was worth every penny extra that it cost, but as every other review states - the beds are firm. The sofa bed is unsleepable - thankfully I had my teenagers on that. There was a great selection of restaurants and the buffets were good as well. Drinks abound and the staff was so friendly and hospitable.

Just got back on Saturday. Had an amazing time. We are a young couple who have very busy lives so it felt good to finally get away where you can finally relax. We were originally going to Mexico but with the whole swine flu we felt that it was safer to go elsewhere. I found an amazing deal on this hotel, and also had a friend who went a month before me. I been to many all inclusive resorts and im not going to say this was the best but it wasn't bad at all. I loved the fact that there were 3 diff beaches to choose from. We stayed in building 29 and it was the perfect location..we had an adult pool right in front of our room, adult beach to the left and another beach to the right..everything was steps away and there was always something available. Unlike in other resorts you where you need to make sure you wake up early and run outside to put your towel down here there was always something available if it was the beach or pool. The restaurants were all pretty good and the buffet wasn't bad either. The 1st night when we got there we had air blowing from our AC but it was really cold, so i called the front desk and someone came in 5 min to fix the problem. Little details like tiles falling out of the pool didnt really bother me to a point where i wouldnt recommend this place. The property is huge and very nice. If you are looking to get away from it all and just want to relax this is the place to go especially for the money

We saw the reviews for the hotel before we left and were a little concerned. But what a resort. It's Beautiful, exciting, friendly, everything you could want and more. We went to celebrate our anniversary, and from the time we arrived it was amazing. The resort is as beautiful as they come. You can look right into the beautiful blue water. The staff was so friendly, from the front desk, to the housekeeping staff, the bartenders. The entertainment staff was great and full of amazing energy. We sang, we danced, we ate delicious food. The value is right, the service is great, and the atmosphere is tremendous. Please don't be fooled by some of these reviews, some people find minor things to complain about, and make a big deal. Everything here is "NO PROBLEM"! They will do whatever you need to make your stay pleasant. You will have a great time at this resort, and we are already planning our return!

Overall our trip to Jamaica was a good one, but the resort needs some work. We thought that by going to a resort that was only 1-2 years old we would have nice rooms, nice pools, and basically a really nice resort.... boy were we wrong! The rooms were all very musty, humid, and stayed damp 24-7 (we were traveling with a group of 19 people all in different buildings, some even had the villa) all of the rooms had mold in the shower stalls, none of the rooms had a/c that worked that well. We all ended up moving our beds to the middle of the room so we could be under the ceiling fan. Now onto the pools... yes they are big, but they are ALL missing tiles and you have to watch where you step so you don't cut your foot open. The pool with the swim up bar is HUGE, but you have to swim across the entire pool to get a drink.... basically a really poor layout. The food, this is the only part of the resort that none of our group had any complaints about. The restaurants did not require reservations and the food was good at all of them. The buffet was also very good! If I had to do it all over again I would have stayed in Negril or Montego Bay. Jamaica was beautiful, the resort just needs some work.

Going to Jamaica my sisters and I were worried not sure of what to expect. We were more than pleased. The food was not 5 star but, good. The rooms were comftorable, not fancy but clean. The front desk at arrival received us with a warm welcome and our room was ready. The service is good and the staff amazing. They are very welcoming and enjoy doing their job. The entertainment staff at pool is THE BEST! The arcade room if small but never full with people. The Boogie Woogie is their Disco is well decorated and a good size. We went for my birthday and we had fun at the hotels disco, we danced till 2am. The bartenders are so friendly and make some great mixed drinks. They also have a 24hr sports bar, where you can get fast food like quesadillas, hamburgers, fries etc.. great to eat there after leaving disco. We reccomend this resort for all and, we hope to return.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The staff at the sunset cove beach and Miss Lou's bar were excellent. Several guest were compaining about the air conditioning not working in their rooms. My air worked but it wasn't very cool. We traveled with a group of friends. When they complained about their AC not working they were told that the hotel was working on the problem. After two days of no air the two couples insisted that they be moved to rooms with air conditioning. We later learned that the resort had been having AC problems for 2 or 3 months. Jamaica is hot and the air should have been fixed immediately or do not put guest in the rooms without AC. The restaurants were also very hot (as in heat). I would not have expected paint to be coming off the walls and the pools to be missing so many tiles in a resort that is only one year old. But the pools were beautiful and clean. It also was a long drive for our tours. The roads in Jamaica have several pot holes which made those long drives very uncomfortable. I would not stay at this resort again because of its location and it needs some repairs (mainly the air conditioning). If you decide to stay at this resort let houskeeping know that you would like your sheets changed because they will just make up the bed if you do not tell them. I had to call them twice at night when I returned to my room and found that they did not change my sheets. Also, the best beach is the Sunset Cove and it is where you can rent the kayaks, sailboats , and pedal boats which are all included in your payment and the staff at the sunset cove are really nice.

Beautiful villa style resort on sprawling combination of hiils gardens and ocean.Suite spacious and clean however the beds are firm firm firm. Specialty restaurants very nice, buffets average for an all inclusive. Read some negative comments before booking. If you are one of those people who cannot be pleased(you know who you are}... stay home and be miserable. The rest of us thoroughly enjoy a beautiful, relaxing vacation at the beach. Surrounded by a hotel staff who truly aim to please, there is nothing here to complain about. Definitely would go back.

The hotel was HUGE, and everything was a lot of fun . . . it is obvious, however, that this hotel was put together very quickly, and will very soon need some maintenance work. Our biggest complaint was ants. By the end of the week, our first floor room had ants all over the few, and we even found a few in our bed the last two nights we were there. My recommendation would be to request a room on the second or third floor . . . no one we spoke to on those floors had any issues with ants. Overall, though, FANTASTIC trip . . . be sure to see Leroy the bartender at the pool bar . . . he is AWESOME!

You're in for a 4 minute ride from the airport, but overall, the resort was very nice. The staff was accomodating. On check in, we requested a room change, and though we had to wait a little longer to get into the room, there was no issue with our request. The suite was large, clean and had two balconies (only one with a partial ocean view though). The beds ARE rock hard. The beach was windy and rocky, but the view was beautiful. The pool was enormous but none of the jacuzzis were working and there were tiles missing. We found this odd for a newer hotel. The food was typical of an all inclusive, neither good or bad. There were several specialty restaurants at the resort, the food was slightly better at these and reservations did not need to be made in advance. A nice change for an all inclusive. Even without reservations, we rarely had to wait to be seated. The resort itself is sprawling, so crowds aren't an issue, if you're looking to relax and have a little space this place is a nice choice. Even prime seating by the pool was easy to find.

Our first day at the hotel was HORRIBLE. It was raining and they didn't have our room ready. They said it was flooded after we signed in so we were thinking we were going to our Bungalow. They put us in a Suite, mine was good but the other people we came with was leaking and didn't have anything in the fridge. They told us our Bungalow would be ready the next day and it was. That made the trip 10 times better. The food and the pool was great. The private beach was a little small but nice as well. We went to the adult pool alot and I really enjoyed that. Great music and drinks. Had more then enough places to eat and the hotel gift shop was a nice size. Don't forget to bring alot of singles.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this resort. This was our first time to Jamaica, but probably not our last. The resort was kept very clean and everyone we met from staff was smiling and greeting you. I was happy with our room, a junior suite. The only problem was that the shower water would go out into the floor of the room. The beds are hard. Loved the jacuzzi in the room. Plenty of towels and always cleaned well. The Sunset Cove beach area was very nice with shelter from the wind. Never really had any trouble getting chairs at any of the beaches. Was surprised at the amount of wind, but got used to it. If you were bored, it was your own fault. There was plenty of daily activities to keep you busy from morning to night. The entertainment staff was always UP and keeping you smiling and laughing. The variety and quantity of drinks was never-ending. We had our favorite restaurants and a few where we liked a few things on the menu. If you go hungry or thirsty, you weren't looking hard enough. Yes, there were some loose tiles in the pool, but that didn't stop us from enjoying. Jamaicans can be on their own time schedule, but realized that this was a vacation and needed to chill out. Overall, a very enjoyable and relaxing experience.

It was more than we could expect. We've read so many reviews and wondered how could "people" complain about the smallest things, you're in JAMAICA (no problem mon). To us it was great! Food was yummy (especially the breakfast buffets and the Pastafarian restaurant)!!! For restaurants, Men: Bring long pants (linen is perfect!)and a collard shirt... Women: anything goes. There is enough coastline and remote areas on the resort for privacy to tap into your romantic side but also a warm friendly atmosphere in the more public areas. The staff was so friendly and truly wanted to ensure that their guest's stay was "irie" (Jamaican term for everything is good). Our Bungalow room was the most elegant room I've ever stayed in. A huge Jacuzzi tub, an outdoor private shower, comfortable king size bed and large flat screen tv & sofa. We were sad to leave, but we wish to return soon. Our stay here definitely left a special memory in our hearts.

We relaxed by the pools most of the time and it was fantastic! I liked the smaller pools better because they were less crowded and more relaxing!

The resort still has a lot of work to do. The shower alternated between ice water and boiling water (I actually received a burn on arm). The adult pool was closed. My husband left many meals hungry - food quality left a lot to be desired for a 5 star resort. The bed, oh my, the bed...hard as a rock! The staff literally held their hands out expecting a tip for everything. I did read several that mentioned leaving tips for the maid staff - so every day I left $5 on the nightstand - until 4pm - then I picked it up and put it in my pocket. They didn't service my room until after 4pm in spite of the green card on the door that requested it from 7:30am. I do understand that Jamaica is not the US - but a 5 star resort should be comparable world-wide. The water sports were very lacking as well.
