We relaxed, ate good, drank good, and enjoyed each other. We went on an exciting excursion and climbed Dunnes Water Falls in Ocho Rios. Everything was great. The only thing I hated about this trip was leaving Jamaica.

It was a wonderful trip. The hotel was more beautiful then the photos. The resort had everything you could want except more accessible premium wines (it was only available in the restaurants at dinner time or in the gift shop for ridiculous prices). But, that was a small detail compared to everything else.

Went to this resort for our honeymoon. Booked it online and wa a little nervous, but everything was excellent every step of the way from the shuttle to the resort to the bellman, the front desk, the maid, bartenders, everyone was very polite and happy to accomodate you in any way that they could. We ate at several of the restaurants and the food was always good. We never had to wait for a table. The wait for the food at the Italian restaurant was a little long, but it gave me and my new husband more time to gaze at one another :-) The pool and pool bar were awesome, the bartenders are full of life and funny stories. I will agree with others that the beds must be made of concrete, but when we complained the maid put a pad on that made all the difference. The spa is very nice and the free amenities, sauna, hot tub, steam, etc. are great. Whenever we wanted a ride somewhere, we had no problem and no wait. We took a couple of tours and the staff goes with you and they take great care of you making sure you have a good time and don't get taken advantage of. Overall, this was a fabulous honeymoon, a fabulous resort and we highly recommend it to others. We went expecting the best and that is what you get. To some others I would say have an open mind, be mindful that it is a new resort and they are still working out some kinks, and remember nowhere can you find perfection.

It didn't take us long to find a perfect place for me my wife and daughter to enjoy a few days at the place we most love, the beach. Jamaica was always the #1 destination we wished to be at. Thanks Orbitz for offering the lowest price and a seamless booking process. Grand Palladium helped making everything even nicer. Beaches are awesome. Sunset Cove was our favorite. Excellent room service, breakfast and dinning and entertainment. Sports activities (volleyball and soccer!) and the amenities are also unique compared to other places we've been. I am a sports fan, my wife likes the pool and the sun, my daughter has a passion for dance and music. We found joy for all three of us on site. It was almost perfect, but here are a few suggestions for improvement: (1) The shower stall of room 1931 has a problem that can be easily fixed: if you are not careful to turn the shower to the side, the water that hits the door leaks out to the bathroom and floods it (it's a lot of water, believe me). This happened to us the first time we used it, unfortunately. The maintenance personnel did no seem to understand our complaint. With the "no problem" mind set, I drained the flooded water myself because it was no big deal for me. As a side comment: we were happy to see that the maid (not the maintenance person) understood the note I left on the door and dried to bathroom nicely. (2) The volleyball court seems nice when you first look at it but if you wish play you'd better protect yourself. It is not a real beach volleyball standard field although it looks like one. It is hard and stony, people can get injured easily. The side walk is elevated and can cause accidents if you don't watch your steps when you run over to the side of the field. The hotel staff, who plays together with the guests, seem to know that wearing shoes is a good idea... Those courts could be improved (e.g. soft sand, leveled with the side walks, somebody could collect stones, etc). Or maybe they should just advised

My wife and I flew to this resort for our honeymoon after looking into several different locations. BAD CHOICE. For a 4 or 5 star resort (depending on what book you are looking at), the guest relations was terrible. You would expect paying a premium price for a location would result in each and every customer leaving the resort satisfied. Upon leaving, even our TAXI service (which we had to pay over 100 dollars for...NO SHUTTLE!....) commented that a lot of guests leave the complex complaining about guest relations. Staff in general were all very nice and helpful, and even a few of them were apologetic for the rudeness of guest relations.

This hotel was very nice and the people were wonderful. The location and the grounds are beautiful and the rum flows freely. The only thing that was not perfect was the food, I would say it was marginal at best. It was not bad but I have had better. Everything else was very nice. When we arrived there was a plate of fruit waiting in our room along with a nice welcome letter telling us to have a wonderful honeymoon. We stayed in a beautiful suite with two balconies and a view of the sea. I would recommend this property.

My wife and I stayed at the Grand Palladium for 2 weeks in March, the rooms were very warm, not real AC, very uncomfortable. After repeated complaints and 9 days later someone was finally able to get the room a little cooler, but not much better. The bars ran out of Premium liquor every day, usually by 8:30 pm, as well as local liquor ( Rum, Vodka, Red Stripe Beer etc.). I had my leather cell phone case stolen out of my room and my shoes stolen from the beach. On a good note the food was very good, the staff was excellent, (not the front desk, very uninformed) and the entertainment was great. Would I stay again? Never

CHECK-IN We were greeted with smiles and a ?welcome to Jamaica? by the bellman and received Rum Punch by the hostess. There was no one checking in when we arrived, & the registration clerk was courteous, prompt & professional which made our check-in FLAWLESS. ROOM ACCOMODATIONS After check-in, we were driven via trolley by the bellman to our villa titled ?Birth of Paradise?, the name could not have been more fitting. Upon entering the room, there was a fruit platter awaiting our arrival, towel art and a fully stocked mini bar. The room was impeccably cleaned everyday by X and towels were provided daily. We never experienced a shortage of hot water and or any other issues during our stay. Our Villa was approximately 25 feet from the ocean with the adult beach in front of us and a pool/bar behind us and with another intimate beach to the far right. IMAGINE waking up and the first thing you see is the sky meeting the ocean without your feet touching the floor. The view was breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub which was large enough to seat 4 and the outdoor shower was another added bonus. IMAGINE showering by sunrise in the morning and by the stars at night. AESTHETICS Panoramic views throughout this property are ABSOULUTELY AMAZING. Open Air Views overlooking the deep blue ocean, the intimate beaches and the fabulous infinity pool. The Inside of the resort is equally beautiful. RESTAURANTS Each restaurant had a wide selection of tasty breakfast, lunch & dinner. RENOVA SPA We had an AWESOME Swedish couple?s massage BEACH/POOL/Bar Our favourite beach/bar is SUNSET COVE. REMARKS The Management & Staff exceeded our expectations once again. This was the BEST VACATION WE EVER HAD & will RETURN for 3RD visit.

We zoomed through customs, rode to the hotel, and went throughas easy check-in. In fact, we asked for an upgrade to an oceanview room and they happily accomodated us. The grounds were breathtaking, the food was great for an all inclusive, and the bands were fun. The bartenders were hilarious, especially at the pool. There isn't much of nightlife, but they provided buses to take guests into town. The room was amazing, the view spectacular and the bed, it's a little hard, but we're used to it. We have a firm bed at home. Overall, if you want a peaceful good time, this is the place. If you are looking for a little more organized fun, or a sprawling beach -- which it does not have -- maybe look elsewhere. But we had a great, great time and would visit again without a doubt.

Not bad. The hotel was nice. The pool and swim up bar were great. However, the beach fails in comparison to Negril. We spent our last day in Negril and I really regretted not staying there the whole trip as soon as I saw the differences in the beach. There is no comparison to the white sand and clear blue water of Negril. The beaches of the Pallidum do not come close. Coarse sand, murky water and slimy grassy bottom. At the Pallidum we spent the entire 5 day trip at the pool. In Negril we spent the whole day on the beach, no pool compares. I kind of knew this when I booked. I didn't think it would bother me. But I was surprised how inferior it really is to Negril. The central bar at the Palladium is awesome, great views and a band every night. Overall the food was average at best. Okay for the price but if I go back it will probably be somewhere in Negril, maybe the Riu. I heard a few good comments about it for cab drivers.

Our experience at this hotel was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful when needed. We took our 7 year old granddaughter. I was supprised how friendly Jamaican's are towards kids. We spent alot of time at Sunset Beach. The water is so clear and excellent for snorkeling. Theres a restraunt on the beach as well as a bar and a hut that makes the chicken jerk. The food is good at the resort. I do recommend buying the all inclusive package. Bring your own sunscreen! We paid $ bucks for 1 bottle at the store on the resort! Things are expensive there. The Dunns Falls trip is great. So is the swimming with the Dolphins. Thats also very expensive but worth the once in a lifetime experience! There is a Kids Club that will watch your kids for awhile if you want to get away with the hubby to have a drink at one of the many bars. The drinks are wonderful. Theres more alcohol in them than the ones we got in Mexico! The hotel offers many activities such as water arobics, Reggae dancing lessons, beer drinking contests and a theater where they put on a different show each night. It does help to tip everyone 4-5 bucks for carrying luggage, babysitting, waitresses, etc. although we didnt do this in Mexico because when we bought an all inclusive there, the travel agency said tips were included in the package. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and would definetly go again! I did get an awful sunburn the first day although I never sunburn! Oh, and yes the beds are very hard!

Very nice resort. It's only a year old and has lots of glitches but overall, very beautiful particularly on the Lady Hamilton side of the resort. You can tell they spared no expense on some aspects of resort whereas there is very cheap or not enough equipment in other parts, notably the pool tables and gym equipment. It's a Spanish owned resort so those looking for authentic Jamaican resort, this may not be the right choice for you but if that is not a big concern or you are spanish-speaking, then this resort is top notch. The food is generally very good - standard resort stuff. As far as the theme restaurants, the Asian, Indian and Steak House are by far the best! It is not in a central location but you still get the full range of tours just not the opportunity to walk into town for authentic jerk or other Jamaican cuisine. The isolation makes it an ideal option for rest and relaxation.

First be prepared with some cash its $50 going to the resort and back to the airport...The ride is pretty cool,you get to see the real jamaica.....the resort itself is beautiful.....food is GREAT!!!!....I dont think i ever ate the same thing twice...I have to give it to the cook's,they bust there behind's cooking for everybody.....Service is good,i cant recall ever having a problem,reception(attitude)...My room was clean,if you run out of towels all you have to do is ask...i always saw a housekeeper....The beach is gorgeous,there are rocks(coral)but wearing shoe's?...it's not that serious,you could alway's find a nice clean spot to enjoy the water....The liquor is pretty basic,nothing you would normally drink...but try the bob marley shots....The bed was a little strong-but who care's?...Tip's are hard because staff is constantly rotating...so basically bartender,bags,housekeeping....Try the jetskii $60 for 30 minutes....Disregard the bad comment's....there either bitter,or snob's juss complaning about anything....there's always a few....I HAD A GREAT TIME!!!

We just got back from our vacation at the Grand Palladium Jamaica, and we loved it. The hotel is beautifull, the staff is friendly, the food is great and the pool is huge. The only negative comments that we have are that there were a few tiles missing in the pool (watch your toes) and the beach has a lot of rocks and seaweed, but we still swam everyday. Trust me dont listen to the negative feedback that people left, this resort is worth seing.

The location was beautiful but that is where it ended. I had a suite which had peeling paint from the ceiling doors that jammed a shower that leaked onto the floor everytime you used it and a bed as hard as a rock. The restaurants were mediocre at best with the exception of the Indian restaurant which was quite good. Plan on waiting at all the restaurants and service was very, very slow. There was black mold on the ceiling in the Buffet. Do not do the Sunset cruise....we were promised snorkling in 2 places(only went to 1 for 15 minutes) shopping for 2 hours(they said there was a gift shop at Ricks Cafe...pathetic), we were to have an open bar on the boat(we had a bottle of rum and a 2 liter of pepsi for 20 people) they showed a picture of a big catamaran but we were jammed into a little boat that barely fit everyone! All this for the low price of $ per person. Save your money!!! The activities staff were very friendly and fun. They were the best part of the stay as they were very involved with everyone. I felt the rest of the staff just told you what you wanted to hear even if it wasn't the truth!! We were lied to about the cruise, the spa, and it takes 30 minutes to get anywhere but when they say that expect at least an hour minimum. Wish I could have been more positive but it wasn't a very good experience!!
