The hotel was great, all the help were very friendly and social. The rooms was excellent and the view is amazing. Orbitz got an excellent rate for the level of hotel! Armani's restaurant is very beautiful but fairly a high class pretentious setting. Still interesting to check out.

The Hyatt is a resort-like hotel where you can relax and still be within close proximity to downtown Tampa. Everything was well maintained and the service from everyone was great... I never had to touch the front door it was opened for me by them each time. We hang out by the pool drank, ate grilled burgers and met other hotel guests just relaxing. I opened my eyes from my bed to a breathtaking water view. I was a get-a-way weekend for me... I plan to return.

Everything at the hotel was acceptable except for the snake that showed itself by the small pool. Not the hotel for people who stay in their rooms. The location was great and easy to access. My room had a breathtaking view of the bay. The "beach" was a man-made sand trap.

We stayed in a casita off property. Remoteness of location/nothing else around. Beautiful landscape, pristine setting and water everywhere. Rooms are spacious and well appointed.

This hotel is extremely close to the Tampa Airport, Clearwater Beach and Busch Gardens. Seaworld is only 1 1/2 hours away. Never had to fight for the pool. Quiet hotel. We stayed in the Casitas (small house) and the bathroom vent wasn't working (important for ....). We would wake up itching, not due to the mosquitos, but due to the microscopic bugs around the room! Probably wouldn't stay again due to this.

Great staff, great value at eating establishments. Unable to access free city wi-fi. Friendly informed staff. Great accommodations. Nice choice of eating facilities and great value from the menu at this type of venue. This review holds true for the casual bar. However, the hotel's main dining facility and fine dining restaurant will burst your budget. Overall, I found the hotel a superb value for the price that I paid.

Being the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay you would think it would be a really nice hotel, but it was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The carpet was so dirty you had to wear shoes or socks because if you didn't your feet would be black. They made the beds with diry sheets and when I called to have them changed no one came to do it. When housekeeping came they never wipe off the tables or even just cleaned up. The only thing good about that hotel was room service. For what we paid for this trip it was not worth it. Also, when they knew we booked through travelocity they treated us like low class people. My husband cut his lip on a broked glass they put in the room and we told them about it and they did nothing. I hope this review will help others stay away from this hotel.

Nothing special, it was ok. They charged extra(20$/night) for better view side, it was not mentioned while booking. Internet was not free, charged 10$ for 24 hours. Friendly and helpful staff.

I chose this hotel from the previous reveiws that people were kind enough to take the time to post.. Hotel was convenient, and centrally located. The staff is amiable and professional constantly striving to assure all aspects of the hotel met my expectations.

Had problems with first stay but second stay was great. Customer Services was great and the managers called me each shift to make sure everything was good.

We checked the hotel website before decicing to stay there. Things were not like they advertised. First there is an overview of the hotel grounds that show all beach front property. When we got there we found marsh instead of sand and no beach at all. Then we reserved a room with a king bed and got two double beds when we arived. Amenities list a stocked minibar Which we discovered they no longer provide. they also listed a complimentary paper every morning. After not receiving one for two days we were told it was only by special request. Another small thing, We went to use the room alarm clock and found it broken. Any of these things on their own seem small but when you add them up they fall far short of the hotels rating and the rate we paid to stay there.

good service , nice clean rooms some remodeling being done but worker were very nice as you need to go pass work area. Clear water beach was very easy to get to from hotel. I would stay again .

Our stay at the Hyatt was restful and quiet. It was clean and we had everything we needed there. We were there to attend a wedding and could not have asked for a bettter place to stay.

The service was outstanding. Drink prices were high in bar. This hotel was absolutely fantastic. Nearby road construction made it a little hard to get there, but well worth the trip.
