Dated but elegant hotel close to via Condotti and Spanish Steps. Our deLuxe Double room was wonderfully spacious-well worth the extra cost over the standard double-clean, and very quiet as it overlooked the inner courtyard. The air-con worked and there was plenty of strong, hot water. If you're looking for modern minimalism with flat panel TVs and glass basins, go elsewhere, but if you're looking for Roman charm, the Grand Plaza is highly recommended.

The room was more than can expected in Rome. It was very large with seperate foyer. I found the hotel had very large interior of rooms and bar and dinning rooms. Not as close to some sites in Rome as some hotel. However, It was a higher standared. But it was a little pricey.

Beautiful hotel, perfectly located in Rome, definitely a place for a bit of luxury although would break the budget to stay for a long time. A couple of nights or one night splurge makes it perfect!

The most attractive element is the location of the hotel (specially if shopping is on your agenda) Public rooms are fascinating and are fantastic place to escape the street noise (they are very quite) but usually empty and closed at noon time (which is a bit inconvenient). On the whole it is a great hotel ( I have stayed their twice already).

A very old hotel with a very good location. And that is it. No more. Bad airconditions, bad showers. The hotel looks in very bad condition. Staff is nice and kind, they do they best. The price you pay is only for the good location and for the clean room. For somebody therse are the most important. For them it is perfect place to stay.

We chose the hotel for its location and 4 star rating. We found the hotel is in a perfect location but it is so very old, with very dimly lit lighting. The rooms and facilities were old and rather outdated . We'd asked for two connecting rooms as we traveled with two kids but they were not available (which is understandable.) The registration staff the morning we arrived was very helpful in finding us one room for early check-in, though the room was extremely small, even smaller than tiny standard ones we used to stayed in Tokyo 4 star. (The other room they arranged for us later were almost twice the size of the former, in a different wing totally but still on the same floor.) Breakfast was good. In all, service was good, but for the price we paid, we expect the hotel in a better condition. They do need renovation!

The hotel was fabulous. The pictures were so inviting that I would have wanted to see it even if we couldn't stay there. There was no disappointment - it is gorgeous! Our room was huge-suite like and very quiet. Even though it is a main street, it is one way traffic and 99% pedestrian, 2 blocks from the Spanish Steps and very central. We stayed there 4 days and it made our Rome trip very special.

the hotel was older and the public areas not as bright, and were furnished with huge uncomfortable furnishings. it was also very empty, which was disconcerting. but overall the service and stay were excellent and the location could not have been better.

Location was unbeatable. Overall very happy with the hotel. Only complaint was lack of staff. 30 minutes to check in. Getting anyone to answer when you called the front desk or housekeeping was impossible. Have already recommended it to friends and will continue to do so. If you are looking for a job in Rome, this should be your first stop.

Overpriced hotel. Staff is not welcoming or friendly. My cousin who lives in Italy called the hotel to confirm my reservation before my stay and was told they had no record of my reservation and to call back someother time. Heard from others staying there they had the same problem. Staff does not speak English well so had a hard time communicating. Great location though. Easy walk to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and shopping.

In generale, comunque, vado sempre volentieri.

everithing was okay, but the first room they gave us was very cold, the heater was broken, so we had another room, wich was smaller, but the heater was working.

To be honest we were very disappointed with our stay at the Grand Plaza. Yes it does have an opulent hallway but the rooms were cold and the bathroom had no shower and a bath with no plug!! There were no tea or cofee facilities (this is a five star hotel remember) and the breakfast coffee was cold and the croissants cold and stale. When we checked in no one even bothered to tell us where the restaurant or bar within the hotel were located. The hotel isn't bad it just wasn't the five star break we expected.

it would be helpful to inform if breakfest is included in the price.
