Grand Hotel Moderne Lourdes

Built in 1896 by Benoite and Jean-Marie Soubirous, younger brother of Saint Bernadette, the Grand Hôtel Moderne is a jewel of the early XXth Century French architecture. With its amazing Baroque frontage and its stylish Art nouveau living rooms designed by the famous architect Louis Majorelle, the GHM combines charm, elegance and comfort in the heart of Lourdes.Located at only 50 meters from the Sanctuaries, the hotel offers an easy access to the Grotto and the tourist sites of the city: native house of Bernadette Soubirous, basilicas, fortified castle and museums.Its 106 rooms will be entirely renovated by 2008 (celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Apparitions).
