Stayed 4 nights and found the room small but clean,The breakfast and evening meal very good with a good choice and no waiting around. The evening entertainment Monday to wednesday only average, but excellent on thursday with Bobby Dazzler. Will be returning in March for 1960s weekend

No parking available, search nearby streets for space, not bery secure when travelling in classic sports car. Food poor (Premier). Lifts volatile. Seagulls wake you up at 04.30 tapping at window. Needs urgent updating. Will not return.

A wonderful locationWe enjoyed our stay at the grand, its a nice looking building in a prime location for the views, the pier and the Great Orme. We loved sitting out on the balcony attached to the bar. We had a great night on the Karaoki, it was our dads 70th birthday and one I am sure he wont forget. There was also another party of people celebrating a 70th and they made the evening even more special for everyone. Will go back and would like to take my grand children there one day.

Well...I would not recommend this hotel. Especially bad was the dining experience. Staff walking around and talking loudly, we simply couldn't relax and finished as quickly as possible too escape all the noise and traffic in there. I usually adapt easily to different standards and can enjoy myself wherever I stay, but I must admit that this one was pretty bad.

our stay at the grandwe arrived at the grand to find they do not have any parking at the hotel, this was a major negative to us and many other people, when we asked could they help we were told try the pay bay, the council have at the bottom,in effect hard luck sort it your self. as there was a victorian weekend on making the town very very full, we had to park several miles away and walk back to the hotel, really bad.poor help.the room we stayed in was reasonable clean but very basic with a view of a wall, window and corridor, every one watching you if you left the curtain drawn, room 508. the meal times we where in a queue everyone had to use sanatizer which made you a bit suspect of why, precaution or somthing wrong ,the staff seemed to be polish so it was difficult to ask. the tables where not cleared around you as you sat down to eat. this seemed to be lack of staff, the ones on seemed to be very over worked, it was our first stay in the hotel and the town. the town was good but was not pleased with the hotel. for which i blame myself for booking on the internet with late rooms.

i did find it unusual not having a phoneline to reception & no room service first time weve experienced that. Also there were no bedside tables.

The Grand was excellent value for money, the room had a small balcony which was nice, from which the sea could be seen. Clean and functional, though the decor is very tired. The evening entertainment was good and very enjoyable, providing you like bingo; plus a good comedian. Breakfast is ok, quite capable of catering for the masses with easy; a request for fresh tea was acted on immediately, with a waiter bring a fresh pot soon after. I would stay here again, in fact I would look forward to my next visit.

This is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. you even had to put sanatizer on your hands when you entered the dining room as they had some sort or infection in the place some weeks before !! I would not stay here for FREE

The Hotel has no parking and so had to constantly trawl the town for street parking. Asked for storage for my mountain bike when booking the room, the hotel told me to keep it in my room, which was on the 3rd floor. Had to carry my own luggage and a mountain bike up 9 flights of stairs! Lift was woefully inadequate and the loitering staff never once offered assistance. Not a pleasant stay.

We stayed here as a last min thing (everywhere else was booked) Staff a bit unfriendly. The room was very small but clean and tidy. We had a breakfast which was excellent. Close to everything. Would stay again.

A typical Victorian seaside hotel. We booked online on the morning of our stay. When we arrived the receptionist said that the only room they had left was a bit 'grotty', without much of a view, upon which she proceeded to upgrade us to a 'premium' room at no extra charge. The hotel is well-worn, but has a lovely atmosphere...somewhat orientated towards the older guest, with loads of entertainment, and within easy reach of the town. Superb views and friendly staff. The only real negative was having to stand around for a while in the morning waiting for a breakfast table - worth the wait though!

Excellent position in Llanduddno. Our room had separate lounge area overlooking the bay. The buffet breakfast was adequate but not first class. For example the toast was cold and the cooked breakfast only lukewarm. The initial welcome at reception wasn't very good - we were asked to pay again!! and we were told the welcome pack gave information about the evening's entertainment - it did'nt!! (although we weren't interested in any entertainment) Saying that, the botel was excellent for a one night's stay. Longer stays are more geared towards themed breaks and coach parties.

The hotel is in need of some modernisation, the public areas are quite reasonable, however some of the bedrooms are outdated. In terms of value for money, you can't argue! If your'e looking for an inexpensive hotel, this fits the bill and ticks the boxes.

we stayed on the 5th april and had a great time the hotel rooms were good and the fod was an all you can eat buffet we were well pleased with the grand

This hotel, like the grand hotel at scarborough, has seen better days. Floorboards squeek, the lifts are very slow and the decor is looking a bit tired. That said, for the price, the room was clean, the bed comfortable and when we asked to move to a room with a veranda it wasnt a problem at all. The electronic locks didnt work on either the first room we tried or the second, so they eventualy gave us a key. Its not a place to go for a week but a weekend is fine. Overall, a nice ish hotel which could do with a lick of paint and a good entertainments manager.
