I book over 50 hotels a year and this is the first time that we have ever used orbitz.We arrived at the hotel only to find that there was no record of our Hotel reservation.I showed them my printed resevation confirmation from you but they still had no reservation.We were exhausted from flying and fortunately they had a room and took an in print of my credit card suggesting that I would have to pay for the room if we could'nt get the reservation straightened out. Then came the worst experience of all,trying to contact your "customer service".On my first attempt,I was put on hold for 25 minutes and finally hung up in disgust..Knowing that I had to get this figured out even though it was 1.00 a.m. in Rome I tried again to get through to customer service and after another 20 or so minutes finally got someone on the phone who assured me that they would contact the hotel by phone while I waited on the line.After another 20 minutes waiting,she came back on the line to tell me that she could'nt reach anyone at the front desk which was an obvious and stupid lie because I called down stairs on the house phone while speaking with her and got the front desk on the line right away.I was on my cell phone the whole time with your service which probably cost me a fortune. As President of my own company I live or die by customer service.I travel a great deal and so do my employees.I was told by your representative that that I would be given a $50.00 voucher for my troubles which probably paid for about 10 minutes of the hour I was on the phone to you.I am back in the states today and have gone to my office to dictate a memo to my staff stating under no circumstances is any one to use your service.You obviously are happy to book rooms but you have a non existent customer service policy.Though the booking service that I normally use is not perfect this experience with you proves that you now have one less client and I will certainly never recommend your company to anyone

Great hotel steps away from the pantheon and all other attractions are within waling distance. The hotel is great, clean and safe. The rooms are large for European hotel. Great Hotel. The rooftop bar/restaurant has great views but was a disappointment. but, you are in Rome, go explore!! highly recommenced.

They gave us a noisy room at first floor next to a very busy street we could not sleep because of constant car horns and noise; we asked to be given room at upper floors they said no They gave us the address for the restaurant and they called the concierge he said it is open we spend a lot of time and taxi money going there but the retardant was closed. The room did not have light fixture they said they will bring a new light fixture they never did The room had no internet they try to fix it they spent 1 hour then they left and never came back the next 2 days? the concierge were absolutely rude unfriendly and wasted our 2 days vacation by giving us wrong information about restaurants that they said was open and it was not and he was very rude all the time to his own hotel staff too If I go to Rome next time I will stay at Hilton cavalier again and not and never at this hotel

From the time we arrived we were greeted in a friendly manner and the staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were immaculate and the services provided were outstanding. The roof restaurant and bar are a must for a late night drink. The staff there is friendly and warm.
