The Grand Hotel Atlantis Bay is located in the Mermaids Bay of Taormina Mare. A funicular or bus will take guests up to the historical city of Taormina, a hillside town with ancient ruins, old buildings, and restaurants and shops. Taormina is on the Messina-Catania line, with trains traveling frequently in both directions. The airport is in Catania, an hour’s drive away. For those with cars, Taormina is on the A18 motorway, and the Grand Hotel Atlantis Bay has a car park.

The 86 air conditioned rooms of the Grand Hotel Atlantis Bay have private bathrooms, equipped with a hair dryer. A mini-bar, coffee and tea making machine, and a direct dial phone are also standard. Nonsmoking rooms and rooms for the handicapped are available upon request.
