The origins of the Grand Hotel Alassio date back to the early nineteenth century. The building, an elegant expression of neo-classical style, has been the subject of important works of re-establishment and renovation of the interior design, recently completed. These actions have returned the magnificence of the "Grand Hotel" Alassio that was in a state of abandonment for more than thirty years. The hotel was attended by sophisticated guests, mainly English guests who, attracted by the mild climate, even out of season, used to stay in Alassio for long periods and to spend pleasant afternoons in the shade of palm trees in the private garden in front of the sea or used to taste the afternoon tea which was served by waiters wearing the livery inside the gazebo by the beach. Today The Grand Hotel Alassio is a magnificent building with 61 Rooms located by the sea, in the center of Alassio, a lively town in Liguria, known as the pearl of the West coast. The important work of re-establishment and renovation of the interior design that was completed in 2010, have returned after more than three decades of abandonment, the magnificence of the "Great Hotel" Alassio, whose origins date from the early nineteenth century, an elegant expression of neoclassical style. Its privileged location, barycentric to the Gulf, by the sea and 100 meters from the famous "Budello" of Alassio, in addition to the excellent service provided, makes the Grand Hotel unique.
