the room balcony view was just outstanding, overlooking the bay and city lights. kids loved the pool, had a hard time getting them out.

General manager, former concierge, was very helpful in securing transportation and tour guide. Dirty, air conditioning didn't work, some people didn't have hot water.

Old,unkept, dirty room, terrible furniture, no safe in room, no minibar (other rooms do have safe and minibar)

Fast reception/service, friendly staff, nice pool area & bar. Needs to be remodeled, mostly rooms. Fair for the price. Friendly staff. Excellent valet parking staff & cost. Overall a nice place to spend vacation - not for travelers that are extremely picky and mostly impatient. Rooms need some remodeling.

I have been going to the Grand since 1999. when it was called the Hyatt. i know it just changed names this year. but iv been to acapulco a good 8 times now.. and iv never stayed anywhere but there.. i love the staff, i know them by 1st name and vice versa. the location is great and the rooms are really clean.. im goin back in 3 weeks booked my trip with orbitz.

The hotel bathrooms needs alot of work to be done...the tiles are cracked and very dangerous in tub areas and caulking is much needed....the views were good from the room..the restaurant at the hotel that overlooks the beach is nice but way overpriced for the dinner...would never recommend this hotel to anyone!!!! Much nicer hotels on the beach and newer.

Fantastic location and marvelous views of the bay. Room lighting was DIM and hard to read by. No outside food allowed. The location is superb, right on the bay with a beach. The bay's water is somewhat dirty, however. The tours we took were all wonderful and cheaper than Princess Cruise's prices for the same tours. Food was great if you can afford it. There is a small fridge in the room stocked fully so we pulled out the supplies and put our own food for breakfast in it (not allowed, but we did it). It's close to Wal-Mart which has Internet "cafe", Subway, groceries, etc. The gold zone begins at the Hyatt and all restaurants there are safe. The ones we went to were always very good. Hotel has a special buffet daily. We tried the Italian and liked it very well.

Great hotel for the price!! We found the service good. No problems with check-in or our bill. Our room was pretty large and clean. Great outdoor resturant and bar. The breakfast buffet on weekend was great!! Nice pool setup too. One small negative about this hotel was it was dated and could use a renovation. It becomes obvious why its not a Hyatt anymore. All and all a nice place I would go again!

It has a great pool and very friendly staff. It needs a little remodeling. The hotel has great service, pool, lobby, and restaurant. the rooms are nice most have an ocean's view but they need a little revamping specially outside the hotel.

Nothing. Everything was horrible rip off. From the moment we arrived it was horrible the front desk check in was over an hour wait and when we got to the room the sheets weren't changed and there weren't any towels in the room. The room was dirty and horrible. The hotel was packed with families and children and above all we had to even pay $5.00 a beach chair to sit on the beach and get harassed by the passing public. This was the worst vacation ever. I don't recommend Acapulco to any one.
