the Hotel Chancellor was not easy to find (especially at night) and the rooms/services did not duplicate what was shown online nor in the brochures. The Hotel was ok, good location and friendly/helpful staff...but the gym/pool was closed for renovations (which was not mentioned in the reservation information), and the furniture/linens were not top quality.

Our stay at the Hotel Grand Chancellor was very enjoyable. Counter staff were very helpful and courteous. We asked assistance on places to go etc and they were knowledgable and resourceful. Room was well kept and stocked, room service meal was really tasty and service prompt. I would recommend this accommodation as being central to cbd, restaurants, etc, with nice views and really good service.

A little walk from the CBD but clean, quiet and the right price. Pool with spa was great for the kids.

This is a great value hotel near Roma Street Transit Centre and inner city Brisbane which offers excellent room, service and amenities.

The room was small and musty. The restaurant wasn't open late evening or for breakfast. The printer connected to computer in the foyer would not print out boarding pass after internet check-in.

The furniture in the rooms could really do with updating... but the service in the hotel is very good. Hotel receptionists very helpful and the cooked breakfast was lovely.

Close to Brisbane shopping and restauranuts. Excellent taxi pick up (waited no more than 2 minutes at any time). Taxi fares cheap to close by restaurants and generally about $ 10 to $ 12. Doesn't state on website that all rooms are non-smoking. But has balconies for most rooms which allow a private are for that for smokers. Good value classy hotel and rooms reasonable size.

Good location- $7 taxi to Main shoping mall. Very clean, spacious room ( I had 2 queen beds), bathroom a bit tight but adequate. Good resturant (dinner only but throughly enjoyable). Would unreservedly recommend this hotel.

Compared to the Grand Chancellor in Melbourne, this hotel was all we could wish for during our short stay. After flying through the night the 7am check in was most appreciated.

Fantastic city views even from the third floor we were at. Nice and central to everything. Old hotel, but for the price and location it cannot easily be bested!
