The hotel is beautiful, the staff very professional and attentive. The restaurant offers a variety of wonderful food. The only thing that was not perfect was the train noise with the tracks being only 1 block from the hotel

Rooms were excellent, brand new hotel. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Spa was small with few services but the staff was very knowledgeable and did a good job. Restaurant needs some work. Waiter was not able to answer questions about the menu. Food was fair. Room service meal was much better than dining room meal. We would have ordered breakfast again from room service but no additional order form was left in room. Probably should bring an extra when room service meal is delivered. Great location to the Biltmore and Biltmore Village.

This hotel is wonderful - perfect for couples. From the personalized check-in service to the beautiful room to the friendly, helpful staff, it was an experience we will always remember. This is not a cookie-cutter chain experience but for someone who wants something a little different. The only inconvenience is the walk across the street if you stay in the manor house as we did. But even in the rain, it was not that big a deal.

check in was a disaster....we had requested and early check by calling a few days before (normal check in is at four...a little late by my standards) ...when we arrived at the hotel, the front desk did not see our request as well as told us to "get lunch and then call back..." did not offer lunch places, however, when we did call back, there was no answer at the front desk..we called maybe 3-4 times and all the calls were not answered or sent to front desk voicemail....it was unnerving to know that the phone was being unanswered at their front desk... lobby was way too small....with over 100 rooms in hotel there was only 2 couches and maybe 8 scattered chairs around....the bar was packed during late afternoon, early evening, however, with the lack of seating in the lobby (they offered waitress service in the lobby), our party went totally unnoticed and unaccommadted.... rooms were fine... we asked for local breakfast spots during our stay, really wanted to get a flavor of what Asheville had to offer, the front deskmworker told us Hardees and McDonalds are across the street....hmmmm... all in all, i thought staff was not knowledgable, unaccomodating ,and all around non-responsive to our requests....this hotel was not worth the money and i would not stay there again...

was happy with the overall service however, at check in they requested a card for incidentals - they incorrectly charged me again for the entire room charge stay as well as $100.00 a day for "incidentals" on top of the daily room charge which I had already paid...when I went to use my card for a meal it was then "declined" as over the limit ($1000.00) - when I called the credit card company they told me the hotel was "holding" that much in charges against my card...needless to say I was not happy! The hotel made a call and released the charges the next day at my prompting but the embarrassment of "declined" experience at a very expensive restuarant left me with a very bad taste. And a "free breakfast" didn't exactly make up for it in my mind. Other than that, the rest of my hotel experience was very nice.

The staff were very friendly and helpful; the room and atmosphere was wonderful. The meals at the restaurant were good, but not a great value. We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Bohemian Hotel located just outside the entrance to Baltimore estate. It had excellent staff, beautiful decor, and magnificently comfortable rooms.

Stayed two nights - opened the day before we arrived. Room was well appointed and service was first rate. Great location - received great pricing from online travel website - which compared to most of the other hotels in the area (when cost averaged). I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get away and relax. The in-room TV/Internet service is very cool. Great restaurants (and shopping) within walking distance (Rezez is excellent). Starbucks is right across the street. We will definitely be back!

My 11 year old daughter and I were here for the opening night. When we booked the hotel we did not realize that it opened April 1, which was the one evening when we needed accomodations in Ashville, as we were merely looking for a great place to stay near Biltmore House. It is literally at the entrance to the Biltmore property-Starbucks, McDonalds's and the Biltmore Estate entrance are across the street. The rooms were luxurious. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud, and my daughter loved the make-up mirror and huge tub. It is decorated like an elegant mountain hunting lodge, with a stone fireplace in the lobby. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant, and it was delicious. The chef came out, spoke to us,and gave us a tour of the kitchen, which of course my daughter loved. You can walk to the shops in Biltmore Village-Talbot's, Coldwater Creek, William-Sonoma. However you are charged a $15 daily fee for computer/movie/game use, so make certain you enjoy the movie/computer games/internet that you are paying for. Also, there is a $15 daily fee for parking. Even with these additional fees, it is a great experience, and the flat screen TV/Computer combo was fantastic!

The perfect place to stay when visiting Biltmore Estate: Across from the entrance to the Estate in Biltmore village. Walk to delightful shops and a stop for the trolley tour; short drive to downtown Asheville. Hotel is new & beautiful; food was very good too! Highly recommended. Would stay there again.

The staff was extremely professional and courteous. There were only curtains separating the bedroom from the bathroom. This hotel was wonderful. I loved the location and the helpfulness of the staff. Our room was very quiet, even though it was my understanding that the hotel was near capacity. We used the workout facility which was exceptionally clean and well-stocked. I would definitely stay here again.

After spending the whole day at Biltmore, we spent the night at this wonderful hotel. It is new, rustic style and just great. Money well spent. The room was beautiful. My husband was not crazy about the curtain around the bath room but I thought they are nice. The staff is friendly. you have to use valet parking at $15 so you have to tip every time you need to get your car..

Very comfortable bed, and great bathroom. Service is poor. No parking. There might be an underground parking garage for the valet, but if you do not want to spend $15 per day for valet, then you have to go park in the village across the 4 lane road and it is a pain. We were told that you could not park your car in their underground lot unless it was valet parking.

This hotel is located across the street from the entrance to the Biltmore Estate. There are plenty of activities available such as hiking, biking, horseback riding. The only disappointment was the unavailability of kayaking because the outfitter did not start doing trips on weekdays until end of May. Kayaking is available at Biltmore Estate, but advanced reservations were necessary. Otherwise, this was a spectacular place to stay and a beautiful part of the United States.

Internet access was free and the monitor was the TV screen. Unbelievable! Closet was small and iron holder took up space in an already small closet. The Grand Bohemian surpassed our expectations. Room amenities were surprising with computer access, beautiful decor, large comfortable chairs and a grand bathroom. The location was convenient to wonderful shopping. The hotel had only been open 6 weeks and you would never know because everything was perfect (no bugs to work out) and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Food at the restaurant was 5 star. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy everything on the menu. Hotel provided a rollaway bed at no charge. Excellent experience. We will definitely go there on our next trip and recommend to others.
