What are your breakfast options?

There are many restaurants, cafes and shops along Melbourne Street, so The Grand is a very convenient location for guests to stay while in Adelaide as they can just walk along the street and do a bit of browsing and stop at a cafe, restaurant or pub for a meal. The eateries which serve breakfast for example would be the Store, The Bakehouse cafe, Wild and Thyme, and the
Vines Snack bar. The Vines snackbar starts serving as early as 6:30am.

What transport is available to get around?

If you were to go from Melbourne Street to the city, you can catch either the free connector bus down at the Old Lion Hotel or you can catch the metro buses which come through about every ten minutes up to 6:00pm and then they come every thirty minutes after that. If you were in the city and you wanted to go to Glenelg, you could either catch the tram from North Terrace or you could catch a bus from Currie Street.

If you wanted to go and shop at Tea Tree Plaza then you could catch the O'Bahn bus from Grenfell Street to go to Tea Tree Plaza, or you could even catch the train from the Adelaide railway station to Noarlunga centre down south.

What can I do nearby?

Melbourne Street, is near the Parklands, The Zoo, the Botanical Gardens and North Terrace. If the guests walk ten minutes up the hill they can head to O'connell Street where there is also alot of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. And there is plenty of public transport buses which drive through Melbourne Street and there is also a City free connector bus.

If you drive to the City you will be there in less than three minutes, so its very close. There is a Chinatown in the city which is joined to the Central Market, you can also go to Rundle Mall where they have many shops and foodcourts and there is also the Casino and the Torrens River. Alot of people go on the tram and travel down to Glenelg where there are many shops, cafes and pubs and the beach. There is much to see in Adelaide, it just depends on what you are interested in.
