The hotel is extremely well located, just besides the bridge and of very easy access. The staff is helpful and courteous. The food was good for breakfast and brunch. The rooms although not luxurious were combortable. The reasonable price tag comes along with some shortcomings. For examble there is only one small elevator besides the reception desk and the wait can get long at times. Some corridors were smelly, may be from cigarette smoke. In my room the surface of the desk had not been cleaned and was quite dirty. The fan control button for the air conditionner was broken. The TV was an older analog TV which I would not watch anymore nowadays. It is those small details that stopped me from giving it a four star. But it is so conveniently located that I would return there.

This hotel appears to cater to bus loads of elderly travelers. The breakfast was mediocre at best. It is situated five miles from the old town - much too far for the rate difference. The room was from the 1960's, small TV, thread-bare carpet. The building is in disrepair - rust and chipped paint, heaved sidewalks - a regular dive. Not comfortable, we left a day early.

Location. Old, not clean, dark, very old, small TV, andsmall bathroom. We didn't like our stay at the hotel. The room was awful, it was noisy all night, the AC wasn't on, my radio alarm and my phone were broken, the bathroom door was riped and it was dusty.

It's was great but it's wasn't a 4 or 5 starts hotel. The staff was respectfull and the room was clean. The bad is that the breakfast was expensive for a buffet. But in general I enjoyed my trip!

Large room, and nice lobby. No wall power outlet available in the room, bland room design. Very cozy hotel and very well located. I would have expected a nicer room and hotel design considering the star but it's still very respectable.

Friendly staff. Older furniture. Bathroom was very small and old. Lots of wear and tear on walls and furniture.

The hotel staff doesn't care about their guests. Old fashioned furnitures without gym equipments. So far from the attractions.

Location is ok. Rooms are probably like they were 30 years ago. If you live in a dump, you might like this hotel. Hotel is big, service is okay but the attractiveness of the room, well, nonexistent. Rooms look like they probably were looking in 1973 with cottage wood on walls and all. Disappointing for a 3 star.

The location provided excellent access to the downtown part of Old Quebec and well as easy connections to superhighways linking the city with Montreal on either shore of the St.Lawrence and to sites east of the city-- Ste. Anne de Beaupre, Ile d'Orleans and Montmorency Falls.

Location to old towne. Towels - Air conditioning. Mostly positive. I am having a problem getting them to forward something I left. Hard to get an English speaking person on the phone.

Convenient to airport. Desk staff friendly and bilingual. Met my need for convenience and price. Now offers high speed internet free for a day.

To visit Quebec, hotels at Sainte Foye are interesting. The bus 11 takes you all the way to the center of Quebec city and there are many restaurants and shopping options in Sainte Foye. If arriving by train, do not go all the way to the Quebec train station, since the Sainte Foye station is only 5 minutes by taxi to the hotel. The hotel is old, but comfortable and nice. The pool is outdoors and great. The breakfast buffet is very good.

lobby was nice smoky smelly room, outdated rooms If you like rooms decorated in the early 70's and the stench of stale cigarettes in your room, then this is the place for you!

We were surprised at the level of service, cleanliness etc. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.
