Goreme House has been praised for raising the standard of service in Goreme's burgeoning tourist accommodation industry. I'm glad to report that I could vouch for these positive feedback. The place is oozing with charm and comfort - good sized double bed (for their single rooms), clean warm blankets, relaxing ambiance and friendly, helpful staff. What makes the place more special are the little extras that make the stay more memorable - scented candles (with matches, of course), complimentary water and tea/coffee making facilities, and olive oil soaps. If you are staying for at least four nights, they offer free transfers from Kayseri airport on the Argeus shuttle service. I have only issue, though - I missed breakfast the day I had to leave early for the airport because the staff were still asleep at 7 am. But that's ok - that won't put me off from staying again here should I find myself coming back to Goreme. The little extras make this place special - scented candles, complimentary water and tea/coffee making facilities and olive oil soaps.
