Overall my experience was okay. They let me check in early (1 1/2 hours). However the fridge was leaking and there was no microwave or coffee pot in the room (can't remember if it was in description). Also, no elevators to second floor. Also, heard that there was a spa in the hotel description by other guests and there was none. Otherwise the hotel was clean and okay for the price.

Clean and comfortable room and quiet. Check in process was not smooth. We had a clean and comfortable room. The area was quiet and easily accessible from the freeway. The day staff was very nice. Just don't check in late at night.

Chula Vista a 10 min drive fron San Diego would recomend you need own transport to get a round. nice little motel.

The first night there was quite an experience with several seemingly drunken people yelling and screaming at each other around 1AM. This finally subsided after about 11/2 hours. The second night also involved drunken yelling, pounding on walls, etc., and the intervention of the Police around 2:30 AM. After about 2 hours, the Police left and the bottle breaking in the parking lot took place, which essentially ended my attempts to get any sleep that night. The next two nights were restful finally after the Inn seemed to hire a private security guard. Hopefully, they have come to terms with a strategy to deal with unruly guests!

A decent enjoyable stay, the inn exceeded my expectations. The main purpose of my trip was to go to the convention centre and by car it took just 15 minutes as the inn was located near the highway. Even without a car the trolley was conveniently situated just behind the inn. There were also many restaurants located just a stone's throw away. The room was clean and comfortable but maybe lacked a safe. Staff was also helpful in recommending places to visit. Breakfast was decent but lacked range.

Conveniently located near the Chula Vista Nature Center. It was clean and comfortable and the price was right at 43./night. near the I5, restaurants.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, rooms were clean and recently remodeled and the price was perfect for our needs. Our rooms smelled of smoke although they were non-smoking (this was fixed somewhat after running the a/c for a while). The Goodnight Inn Chula Vista was a great hotel for the price we paid. The staff was friendly and accommodating; the rooms were recently remodeled and clean when we arrived. There were many dining options nearby and it was close to the many places in San Diego we were visiting. I will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future.

I could not cross the border of El Centro CA in time to Rent-a-car to Chula Vista on the night of July 11th. Accordingly I made a call to Travel online if they can do something for me. The reply from the Good N.Inn via Travel online was that they could not cancel it. So I have them keep the reservation as it is. I drove to Good Nite Inn on 6:00p.m. July 12th and found out that there is no reservation! They cancelled the reservation not properly. I could have slept in the car!

I had been to this location with my business client; stayed there for a night. We were very tired and slept off. in the morning we realized that we had been victim of bed bugs. we had rashes on our skins. we could not complain as we had a flight to catch next morning.I and my client suffered really too much. I felt cheated as i had to pay money for the hotel stay; got bitten by bed bugs, got rashes, had to pay medical bills and all the more important-- created a bad impression infront of my client...which was almost at the cost of my job!!! This was by far the most horrible trips that I had been into...personal and business wise. I better hope I get some compensation for this terrible hotel stay

It was a very nice hotel for my family to stay at and worked very well for us. They didn't provide enough towels the first day. Overall, we were happy with the hotel. The pool was an enjoyable surprise for us. We plan to stay at this hotel again when we go to San Diego.

For the rate we paid (<$50) this was a fine place to crash for a night (or two). The room was clean, and everything in it was just fine -- the beds, the bedding, accessories, etc. Location isn't the most impressive part but it is central enough that virtually everything you might need is within a 5 min drive. Breakfast was quite basic (6-9am) but not bad. We didn't use the pool so I can't comment on that. Just your basic one-night crash-over kind of hotel, I would say. Nothing fancy. And, very good for the price.

We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times when we visit San Diego. It is always very clean and has easy access to the freeway. The only complaint I had was that we did arrive earlier than check in so I understand that the room wasn't ready at that point but... We were told to come back in an hour which was check in time and the room still wasn't ready. They said it would be another hour. After expressing my aggrivation about the situation they were able to get us a room in about 20 minutes. But other than this happening, the Good Nite Inn is a great place to stay and the rooms are very big a clean. You get a lot of room for you money. Also, this hotel has the most comfortable beds and pillows as any hotel I have ever stayed.

We stayed at this hotel while visiting friends. It is your basic place to lay down at night for some rest. Nothing fancy, but clean and with a friendly staff. Pool was a bonus even though we didn't get to use it. If you are looking for a place with extras, this is not it. No coffee maker in the room, no iron (but one is available), no blow dryer. If you just need a bed and a shower, this will do just fine. Close to a major highway and if you need directions to places staff was great about providing you a printout or even suggesting a place.

nothing special. I paid about 50 bucks for one night. They charge $4.95 for the wireless internet. Actually if you drive south to mexico border, I think you can find cheaper hotels for the lower prices.

It was very close to public transportation and restaurants. It was dirty, they were not friendly. This hotel was okay for the price we paid, but I was not impressed in the least bit. I requested new pillows and blankets because ours were stained (not from us, from previous guests I assume), and they would not bring them up to us. We had to walk down to the lobby to get them. They were not friendly, and I did not really feel safe with the graffiti all over the dumpster in front of the hotel.

We have stay many times and will return again. After making reservation on line I call and request a handicap room for my husband and our service dog. Each time when we arrive we have a ground floor handicppped room. Staff helpful and close to restaurants and trolley.

This place is the best! It is just off the freeway, but yet it is quiet and is next to one restaurant. This place is the best for staying and taking a half a block walk for a nice dinner.

I liked the location because it was close to the trolley! I hate to be tied up in traffic and worry about driving in it. The trolley will get you to most things in the city and at a great price. I liked the hotel because it was only 1/2 block from the trolley station. I could be to the boarder in just 10 minutes and to downtown in 15 minutes. The hotel had great room rates and I saved additionally due to a sale.
